George Kay Whyte McGuckin (born 11 August 1938) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a wing half. He made four appearances in the Football League for Cardiff City. [2]

Cardiff City Football Club is a professional association football team based in Cardiff, Wales. The history of Cardiff City F.C. from 1899 to 1962 covers the club's founding, its move into the Southern Football League and its election to the Football League to the end of the 1961–62 season.

The 1925–26 season was the 25th year of competitive football played by Cardiff City F.C. and the team's fifth consecutive season in the First Division of the Football League. Having finished as runners-up in both the First Division and the FA Cup in the previous two seasons, the team's early optimism was misplaced as they finished in 16th position.

The 1927–28 season was the 27th season of competitive football played by Cardiff City F.C. and the team's seventh consecutive season in the First Division of the Football League. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the 2022–23 FA Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Cup.
