George James Pallett (1907-1996) was a male athlete who competed for England.

Athletics career

He competed for England in the long jump at the 1934 British Empire Games in London. [1]

Pallett was a president of the Herne Hill Harriers and was a qualified AAA coach in all field events. [2]

Basketball at the 2018 Commonwealth Games was held on the Gold Coast, Australia from April 5 to 15. The basketball competition was held at three venues: Cairns Convention Centre in Cairns, Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre in Townsville for the preliminaries and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Gold Coast for the finals. This was the second time that the basketball competition was held at the Commonwealth Games.
