Georgia's 38th Senate district

District 38 of the Georgia Senate is a senatorial district that encompasses parts of Midwestern Georgia encompassing part of Atlanta and Fulton County, Georgia. The current senator is Horacena Tate.

The MAK Historic District is the first locally designated historic district in Decatur, Georgia. It is named for the three main streets it encompasses and covers ten city blocks of varying sizes. The district is located immediately west of Agnes Scott College, and south of College Avenue. Decatur's historic Oakhurst neighborhood developed to the south and west of the MAK historic district, resulting in the district being surrounded by structures of a similar context.

The Northwest Georgia Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America which currently encompasses Bartow, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Polk, and Whitfield counties. In the early 1980s, affiliations with Catoosa and Murray counties were transferred to the Cherokee Area Council of Chattanooga, Tennessee, but associations with Murray county were later returned to the Northwest Georgia Council in 1995. The first troop chartered by the Northwest Georgia Council was Troop 12 of Dalton, Georgia, which was established by Mr. W. M. Sapp on March 14, 1911. The council's oldest continually chartered troop, Troop 12 of Adairsville, Georgia, was chartered soon after in 1915. The headquarters of the Northwest Georgia Council are located in Rome, Georgia. The current Scout Executive for the Northwest Georgia Council is Rob Stone.

The Old County Road South Historic District is a rural historic district encompassing a well-preserved collection of 18th and early 19th-century rural farm properties in Francestown, New Hampshire. It includes nine houses, whose construction dates from 1774 to 1806, and the only two extant 18th-century saltbox-style houses in the town. There is also a Cape-style house built using the relatively rare vertical-plank method of framing, and there are several surviving 19th-century barns. The district covers 500 acres (200 ha) along all or part of Old County Road South, Pratt (Clark) Road, and Birdsall Road. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Zulma P. Lopez is an American politician from the state of Georgia. A Democrat, Lopez represented the 86th District of the Georgia House of Representatives, which encompasses a part of metro Atlanta, from January 2021 to January 2023. On February 4, 2022, Lopez announced she would not be seeking re-election in the Georgia House of Representatives.
