Gerard "Ged" Anthony O'Mahony (born 17 March 1979) is an Australian pro boxer best known for competing in the Olympics in 2004 and 2008 at Welterweight.
O'Mahony started boxing at an early age. He was trained by English born trainer Garry Hamilton.
In 2004, he qualified for the Athens Olympics but at the Games (results) lost his first bout to Ukrainian Viktor Polyakov. [1] [2]
In 2005, he beat Jarrod Fletcher on his way to the Australian title. [3]
In 2006, he was beaten at welterweight by eventual southpaw winner Bongani Mwelase in the first round of the Commonwealth Games. [4]
At the 2008 Olympics, he was named as the captain of the Australian boxing team, but was beaten in the opening round by Moldovan Vitalie Gruşac. [5]
He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. [6]
O'Mahony embarked on a pro career in 2009, so far compiling a record of 2-0.

Michael Carruth is a southpaw Irish Olympic boxer from Dublin. He is best known for winning the welterweight gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He turned Pro in 1994 but retired in 2000.

Frankie Raymond Gavin is a British professional boxer. He held the British and Commonwealth welterweight titles between 2012 and 2015, and has challenged once for the IBF welterweight title in 2015. As an amateur, Gavin won a gold medal in the lightweight division at the 2007 World Championships, becoming England's first ever winner of that event. He also won lightweight gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Junior Witter is a British former world champion professional boxer who competed from 1997 to 2015. He held the WBC light welterweight world title from 2006 to 2008 and challenged once for the IBF light welterweight title in 2000. Bradley Michael Pitt, also known as "Hollywood", is an Australian boxer best known for winning the Heavyweight Gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and for qualifying for the 2008 Olympics.
Bradley Arthur Hore is an Indigenous Australian male boxer who represented his country and his peoples as a 2 x Olympic & Commonwealth Games athlete. Hore turned pro on 27 July 2012 and competed as a professional in the Super Bantamweight and Super Flyweight divisions. He holds the WBF Superfly Title, WBU Australasian Superfly title and is a Queensland Bantamweight Champion. Hore, retired from his professional boxing career in 2016 after starting the charity "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" which raises awareness against drug & alcohol induced violence.

From then on, Pittman held a record of twenty-five bouts throughout his professional career.
Anoushiravan Nourian is a retired amateur Iranian-born Australian boxer. He picked up a bronze medal in the welterweight at the 1994 Asian Games in Hiroshima, and also competed in two editions of the Olympic Games under different banners. Nourian's career had been overshadowed by a doping controversy in 2000, resulting to a ban from the Iranian boxing team at the Summer Olympics in Sydney and his emigration to Australia, where he later obtained a dual citizenship.

Bowyn Morgan is a New Zealand professional boxer. As an amateur he competed in the men's welterweight division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow where he would reach the quarter-finals before losing to Scott Fitzgerald, who went on to claim the gold medal.
