Gerry Ryan Tonightis an Irish chat show hosted by Gerry Ryan that aired for three series on Network 2 between 1995 and 1997. The studio-based show featured guest interviews and live music. Gerry Ryan Tonight aired twice weekly for the first season and once a week for all subsequent seasons. [1] Stand-up and sketch comedian Anne Gildea was a co-star. [2]

RTÉ broadcaster Gerry Ryan died on 30 April 2010, aged 53. Ryan had been presenting The Gerry Ryan Show since 1988 and at the time of his death had the largest audience on RTÉ 2fm. Ryan also hosted several television series, including Secrets, Gerry Ryan Tonight, Ryantown, Gerry Ryan's Hitlist and Operation Transformation and Ryan Confidential, as well as one edition of The Late Late Show in 2008. Ryan co-presented the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 with Cynthia Ní Mhurchú. He died sixteen years later at his Upper Leeson Street apartment in Dublin, with his body found by his partner Melanie Verwoerd. The broadcaster had split from his wife Morah in 2008; the couple had five children together.

The 48th season of The Late Late Show, an Irish television chat show, began on 4 September 2009 and concluded on 28 May 2010. It aired on RTÉ One each Friday evening from 21:30. It was the first series to be hosted by Ryan Tubridy, the show's fourth permanent hosta following the resignation of Pat Kenny live on air the previous season.

The 51st season of The Late Late Show, the world's longest-running chat show, began on 7 September 2012 and concluded on 31 May 2013. Ryan Tubridy's fourth season as host, it aired on RTÉ One each Friday evening from 21:30. However, he did not complete the entire season, and former host Pat Kenny made an unexpected return as presenter on 1 February 2013, announced RTÉ on 30 January 2013.

Gerald "Gerry" Daly is an Irish Horticulturist, garden designer and media personality and editor of The Irish Garden magazine. The Nualas were an Irish cabaret trio known for performing spoof songs. The group — with characters named Nuala, Nuala and Nuala— was founded by Anne Gildea, Sue Collins and Tara Flynn in 1995. Flynn was replaced at several points since 2002 by Susanna de Wrixon, Karen Egan, Maria Tecce, and Josephine O'Reilly. Performing predominantly in the UK and Ireland, including the Edinburgh Fringe in 2001 and 2014, they also performed in New York and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala. The group last performed in 2018.
