Get Low Records is a hip hop record label founded by Memphis Bleek in 1998.
Under the guidance of Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek founded his label, Get Low Records, in 1998. The label's first release was Memphis Bleek's gold debut, The Coming of Age. This gained the label some notoriety. During the year 2000, the label began their long-running feud with Nas. The following year, Get Low released Bleek's second album The Understanding, another gold release. After the release of this album, the feud with Nas became public and distributing label, Roc-A-Fella Records quickly came to their defense setting up the epic Jay-Z vs. Nas feud. In the time between Memphis Bleek's second and third albums, he signed former Junior M.A.F.I.A. member, Lil' Cease to the label. He would also sign Geda K. In 2003, the label began feuding with west coast rapper The Game over the similar titling of his label at the time Get Low Recordz, they would trade disses from 2003 until 2007. This all led up to Bleek's third album M.A.D.E. The label would sign Livin Proof, and Gbaby and Latif in 2004. In 2005, the label released Memphis Bleek's fourth album 534. R&B singer Coya was signed that year as well. They also made peace with Nas around this time. Sniper and Phyro Son were signed to the label the following year. The label is currently preparing for the release of albums by Coya, Memphis Bleek, and Lil Cease. In the spring of 2014, Bleek announced that he would no longer use the 'Get Low' name and would re-vamp the company under a new name he chose called "Roc Solid". The new name being an ode to his tenure with Roc-A-Fella Records; the company released two mixtapes from Bleek called "The Movement" & "The Movement 2"
Leslie Edward Pridgen, better known by his stage name Freeway, is an American rapper from North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is best known as a member of the rap group State Property, during his time with Roc-A-Fella Records alongside Jay-Z. In 2009, Freeway was briefly signed to Cash Money Records, but returned to work again with Jay-Z at the mogul's entertainment organization and record label, Roc Nation, with his 2018 album Think Free.

The album received widely positive reviews from music critics and the album ended up becoming the 20th highest-selling R&B/hip-hop album of the 2000–2010 decade according to Billboard.
S. Carter Records was a record label formed by Jay-Z. The label included Foxy Brown. The label was formed after The Island Def Jam Music Group, holding a 50% stake in the Roc-A-Fella Records, bought the last 50% of the company. They also appointed Jay-Z the president of Def Jam Recordings, soon after Damon "Dame" Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke were released as the co-founders of Roc-A-Fella Records. Dash and Burke have started up Dame Dash Music Group since, which was also distributed by Island Def Jam. In 2009, S. Carter Records dissolved and went out of business after Jay-Z created Roc Nation in 2008, which was actually a 10-year contract agreement between him and concert promotion company Live Nation. Despite the closure, the name still bears copyright on later Jay-Z releases, albeit as "S. Carter Enterprises".

It served as an introduction of the Cam'ron-fronted rap collective, the Diplomats, to the general public. There are featured guest appearances from the Diplomats, DJ Kay Slay, Daz Dillinger, Tiffany, Jay-Z, McGruff, Memphis Bleek, and Beanie Sigel. To date, it is his most commercially successful album, it peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 226,000 copies and eventually sold One million copies in the United States, being certified Platinum by the RIAA.

The duo released two albums: Tough Luv (2004) and Brothers from Another (2005) and were apart of Beanie Sigel's State Property collective. Young Chris was signed in December 2010 as a solo artist to Universal Motown through producer/songwriter Rico Love's label imprint Division1. He released two albums through Division1: LIFE: Ladies In For Free and The Revival, both in 2011. In 2014 he released the album Gunna Season through Jaccpot Entertainment. He has also had a large number of self-released mixtapes from 2007 to the present.

He has worked with many leading recording artists, most notably Jay-Z, and an April 2015 Wall Street Journal profile called him "the most famous and successful engineer in the history of hip-hop".
Jonathan Burks, better known by his stage name Jaz-O, is an American rapper and record producer active in the late 1980s through the 1990s, best known for being the mentor of Brooklyn rapper Jay-Z. Burks is nicknamed "the Originator", and had a song titled "The Originators" that featured a young Jay-Z in 1990.
