Get Well Soon is a music and band project of the German singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Konstantin Gropper. [1] He has released six albums and a number of EPs and singles. [2]
Gropper was born September 28, 1982, in Biberach an der Riss, Germany, [1] the son of Walter Gropper, a music teacher in Erolzheim. [3] He grew up in a musical household and learned to play the cello at an early age while he attended the gymnasium in Ochsenhausen. At secondary school he formed his first band, Your Garden and briefly studied languages at the Heidelberg University before enrolling at the Mannheim Pop Academy. [4] His sister Verena is a soprano and they occasionally perform together. [5] [6]
He worked 3 years on his debut album Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon which was released in Europe by the Label City Slang and by Nude Records in the UK and Ireland in January 2008. [7] The album entered the German Album Charts on no. 28 and also entered the French, Austrian and Swiss charts. [8] [9] [10] [11] Gropper formed a live band and toured the album. In 2008 Gropper also wrote exclusive tracks for the latest Wim Wenders movie Palermo Shooting , alongside other artists like Portishead and Nick Cave. [4]
The second album Vexations was released in Europe in January 2010. Unlike the debut, it was pre-produced by Konstantin Gropper and then was recorded with a full band in a studio. It entered the German album charts at number 11 and was followed by a tour.
In 2011 Konstantin Gropper wrote the score to the first season of the French series Xanadu, which was broadcast in France and Germany by ARTE TV.
In 2012 he released the album The Scarlet Beast O'Seven Heads. [12] In 2016 he released an orchestral version of the 2010 album as Vexations 16. [5]

Talk Talk were an English band formed in 1981, led by Mark Hollis, Lee Harris (drums), and Paul Webb (bass). Initially a synth-pop group, Talk Talk's first two albums, The Party's Over (1982) and It's My Life (1984), reached top 40 in the UK and produced the international hit singles "Talk Talk", "Today", "It's My Life", and "Such a Shame". Bec Lavelle is an Australian musician, singer-songwriter. Lavelle provided lead vocals for songs on TV drama, McLeod's Daughters (2001–2009). The tracks are written by Posie Graeme-Evans and Chris Harriott. Lavelle appears on three soundtracks for the show, the first volume peaked at No. 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified platinum by ARIA for shipment of 70,000 units. The second volume reached No. 19 and was certified gold for 35,000 units shipped. She had an on screen guest role as Bindy Martin in October 2006 in an episode, "Old Wrongs". Sarah Elizabeth Blaskow, known professionally as Sarah Blasko, is an Australian singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. From April 2002, Blasko developed her solo career after fronting Sydney-based band, Acquiesce, between the mid-1990s and 2001. She had performed under her then married name, Sarah Semmens, and, after leaving Acquiesce, as Sorija in a briefly existing duo of that name.
