Ghana Entertainment Awards USA is a Ghanaian music awards ceremony aimed at projecting the achievements of Ghanaian creatives and entertainers excelling in various crafts in and outside Ghana. The GEA exists to acknowledge the contributions of Ghanaian, African and international entertainers and artists. [1] [2] [3] [4] The Awards ceremony was founded in 2017 and usually takes place July annually. [5]

Ghana Movie Awards is an annual film award to recognise excellence in the Ghanaian film industry. The first edition was held on 25 December 2010 at the Accra International Conference Center. It’s only in 2017 that the ceremony wasn’t held due to the franchise being given to Zylofon media that year. The Award Sheme was founded by Ghanaian actor Fred Nuamah in 2009.

City People Entertainment Awards are an annual accolade presented by City People Magazine to honour Nigerian and Ghanaian entertainers. The first edition was held in Abeokuta, Ogun State on June 14, 2009. The event was hosted by Governor Gbenga Daniel in the State House. The most recent ceremony was held on June 22, 2014 at 10 Degrees Event Centre, Lagos State.

Kofi Amoako, known professionally as DJ Vyrusky, is a Ghanaian disc jockey, he was the Commercial Media Manager at EchoHouse, before he becoming a full-time DJ on Starr Drive in 2014. He is currently the 2017 Ghana DJ Awards Best DJ of the Year and Best DJ from the Ghana Music Honors.

Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh known by the stage name DJ Switch, is a young Ghanaian female disk jockey. She is a multi talented entertainer who can also sing, rap, dance and host TV shows. She currently host Talented Kidz program on TV3. She does poetry, is an actress and delivers motivational speeches. She is the second child and the only girl among five siblings. She hails from Dadieso in the Western North Region of Ghana and attends Talented Royals International School at Weija in Accra. Her career took off when she was seven years of age. She claims she is adept at switching people's moods from sad to happy, hence the name DJ Switch.

He was listed among the top ten DJs in Africa in 2019. He was awarded the DJ of the Year at the 2021 3Music Awards and the Radio DJ of the Year at the 2020 RTP awards.

Caleb Elolo Adjomah popularly known as Giovani Caleb is a Ghanaian television personality and radio personality. As Master of Ceremonies, he has also hosted events including Ghana Club 100 Awards, MTN Hitmaker, the AFRIMA Music Village show (2018), 2019 Ghana Business Awards and the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Red Carpet show.

The 3 Music Award is Ghanaian music awards ceremony held annually since 2018 to celebrate Ghanaian music. It was established by the 3Music Network with Media General TV3 as broadcasters. The Multimedia group became the media right holder in the second and subsequent edition. In 2020, the Fan fest which was scheduled to take place at the Accra Polo Grounds was cancelled and a Virtual award ceremony was held from the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair La. This was because of the ban on public gathering due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Its purpose is to foster the development of the Ghana music industry by rewarding and celebrating radio, mobile and club DJs who have excelled in their profession. The annual event highlights contributions Ghana DJs have made to the music distribution and promotion industry by playing, endorsing and publishing songs.
