This would be Jiah Khan's final film before her death in 2013. The film was shot over several months in London and Italy. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film released at more than 750 theatres on 30 April 2010 in India. It was a success at the box office. It is the first installment of the Housefull film series.

3 Idiots is a 2009 Indian coming-of-age comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani and Omi Vaidya, the film follows the friendship of three students at an Indian engineering college and is a satire about the social pressures under an Indian education system. The film is narrated through parallel dramas, one in the present and the other ten years in the past. It also incorporated real Indian inventions, namely those created by Remya Jose, Mohammad Idris, Jahangir Painter and Sonam Wangchuk.
Dabangg is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language action masala film directed by Abhinav Kashyap, and produced by Arbaaz Khan under Arbaaz Khan Productions. Arbaaz's elder brother Salman Khan stars in the lead role, with Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Om Puri, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mahie Gill featuring in supporting roles, while Sonu Sood plays the main antagonist. Udaan is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age drama film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap and Ronnie Screwvala as Anurag Kashyap Films and UTV Spotboy. The film, written by Motwane and Kashyap, starred newcomer Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy, Aayan Boradia, Ram Kapoor, Manjot Singh and Anand Tiwari. It follows the story of Rohan, who is forced to live with his oppressive father in Jamshedpur after he is expelled from boarding school.
