The Gibraltar national badminton team represents Gibraltar in international badminton team competitions. [1] It is controlled by the Gibraltar Badminton Association, the governing body for badminton in Gibraltar. The team have never competed in the European Men's and Women's Team Badminton Championships.

Gibraltar competed in the Sudirman Cup mixed team finals in 2001 and 2003. Gibraltar competed as the neutral "IBF Team" in the 2001 Sudirman Cup due to the Gibraltar dispute. An appeal by the Gibraltar Badminton Association to compete under the Gibraltar name and flag was rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Lee Hyun-il Badminton player

Lee Hyun-il is a former badminton player from South Korea. He is a former World and Asian Championships bronze medalist, and was part of South Korean team that won the 2003 Sudirman Cup as well the gold medals at the 2002 and 2014 Asian Games.

The Sudirman Cup is an international badminton mixed team competition contested by member countries of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), the sport's global governing body. The championship has been awarded every two years since the inaugural tournament in 1989. It used to be held at the same venue for the World Championships in the same year until the International Badminton Federation decided to split the two tournaments starting from 2003. There are five matches in every Sudirman Cup tie which consists of men and women's singles, men and women's doubles and mixed doubles. The cup is named after Dick Sudirman, a former Indonesian badminton player and the founder of the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI). The current champion is China, which won its 12th title at the 2021 tournament in Finland.

The 2001 Sudirman Cup was the 7th tournament of the World Mixed Team Badminton Championships of Sudirman Cup. It was held from May 28 to June 2, 2001 in Seville, Spain.

India national badminton team represents India in international team badminton and is governed by the Badminton Association of India. The men's team has won the Thomas Cup in 2022. The Indian team competed in the 2011 Sudirman Cup and shared the fifth rank with three other teams, what is up to now the best performance in the Sudirman Cup. It is currently ranked 5th in the World. It has won 25 medals at the Commonwealth Games and 10 medals at the Asian Games along with 10 medals at the BWF World Championships and 3 medals at the Summer Olympics.

The Indian national badminton team competed in the 2011 Sudirman Cup held in Qingdao, China from 22 to 29 May 2011. It was the twelfth edition of the Sudirman Cup, the world mixed team badminton championship which takes place every two years. In this edition, 32 national badminton teams participated, and for the first time twelve teams competed in the elite group to battle for the title.

The 2017 Sudirman Cup was the 15th edition of the Sudirman Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the mixed national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF), since its inception in 1989. The tournament was hosted by Gold Coast, Australia, between 21 and 28 May 2017. It was the first time this event was hosted outside Asia and Europe since its establishment in 1989.

The 2019 Sudirman Cup was the 16th edition of the Sudirman Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the mixed national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF), since its inception in 1989. The tournament was played in Nanning, China, between 19 and 26 May 2019. Korea is the defending champion.

Lee Yun-hwa is a South Korean badminton player. Born in Wonju, Gangwon province, Lee started playing badminton at aged nine. She educated at the Bukwon girls' middle school, after that in Yubong girls' high school. Lee joined the national team when she was 15 and trained at the Taeneung national training center. In the junior event, she competed at the Asian Junior Championships, winning a gold medal in the girls' team event in 2001, girls team silver and girls' doubles bronze medal in 2002. She also part of the national junior team that won the silver medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships. She made a debut at the Uber Cup in 2004, and captured the attention by her outstanding performance winning the singles and doubles event in the semi finals against Denmark. In the Sudirman Cup, she helped the team reaching in to the semi finals round in 2005 and 2007, clinched the bronze medal for the team. Lee who was affiliated with the Daekyo Noonoppi, helped the Korean team won the world women's team championships at the 2010 Uber Cup.

The Poland national badminton team represents Poland in international badminton team competitions. It is managed by the Polish Badminton Association in the capital city of Warsaw. Poland competed in the Sudirman Cup from 1989 to 2011. The men's team only competed the Thomas Cup once in 2010 and the women's team have never qualified for the Uber Cup.

Peru national badminton team Peruvian national badminton team

The Peru national badminton team represents Peru in international badminton team competitions. It is controlled by the Peruvian Sports Federation of Badminton. The Peruvian mixed team were champions at the 1993 Pan Am Badminton Championships. This qualified them for the Sudirman Cup. The mixed team would continue to compete in the Sudirman Cup until 2011.

The Nepal national badminton team represents Nepal in international badminton team competitions. The Nepalese national team is controlled by the Nepal Badminton Association, the governing body for badminton in Nepal.

The Fiji national badminton team represents Fiji in international badminton team competitions. It is administered by the Fiji Badminton Association. Fiji competed in the 2017 Sudirman Cup. They finished in 25th place.
