Ginny Capicchioni is a lacrosse goaltender. She played women's lacrosse at Sacred Heart University. After college she played men's box lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League, senior Canadian Lacrosse Association, and for Team USA at the 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. Capicchioni grew up in Oradell, New Jersey and attended River Dell Regional High School, where she played basketball, field hockey and softball.^[1]

Following her collegiate career, she became the first woman in North America to sign with a men's professional team, the first woman to play in a men's professional lacrosse game,^[2]^[3] the first American-born keeper to play in a Canadian Lacrosse Championship, and the first woman to play for a men's national team in any sport.^{[ citation needed ]} After starting the game of lacrosse in college, she became the three-time Northeast Conference Goalie of the Year at Division I Sacred Heart University. Capicchioni twice ranked in the NCAA's Top 10 ins Save Percentage, while setting the program records for saves, goals against average, and career wins.

After playing with the New Jersey Storm of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), she began her nine-year career in the Canadian Lacrosse Association. Capicchioni's Canadian experience includes the Akwesasne Warriors on Cornwall Island, Ontario (ILA); the St. Clair Storm in Sarnia, Ontario (OLA); the Windsor Warlocks in Windsor, Ontario (OLA Major), the Windsor Aigles (QLL) in Windsor Quebec; the Island Redmen (ILA) on Cornwall Island, Ontario; the Mad Mohawk in Cornwall, Ontario (ILA), and the last two years with the Coquitlam Adanacs in Coquitlam, British Columbia (WLA, Major).

In 2010, Capicchioni was named to the USA World Team. She competed in the 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships (Prague, Czech Republic) and compiled an overall 93% save percentage for the tourney. In 2012, Capicchioni signed with the Kentucky Stick horses in the NALL (North American Lacrosse League), who play in the prestigious Freedom Hall (Louisville, Kentucky). In 2013, Capicchioni signed with the Baltimore Bombers in the NALL. Recently, she was drafted second overall in the European Lacrosse League draft (Fall 2013). She competed with the expansion team Pietro Filipi, located in Radotin, Czech Republic. Capicchioni's team finished third place, and she finished 1st in save percentage with a .78.

Capicchioni's coaching career has included three years at Drew University, six years with Tristate lacrosse, a year at Immaculate Heart Academy (NJ), and a year at Bergen Catholic High School (NJ). With her first company Goal Guardians LLC (now Guardian Sports), she teaches male and female goaltenders in the tri-state area, ranging from youth to the university level. Capicchioni holds a BS in Political Science from Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT) and a master's degree in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland (Baltimore, MD).

Capicchioni is the CEO and Founder of Guardian Sports and the creator of the GRC index. The GRC index is the first-ever quantifiable player-rating index in sports, outside of the NFL's QBR ratings, to provide statistical figures for coaches to compare and contrast the skills and athleticism of lacrosse goalies.

Tyler Richards is a lacrosse coach and former professional Canadian lacrosse goaltender. He is the goaltending coach for the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League. As a player, he played for the Calgary Roughnecks, Washington Stealth, Vancouver Stealth and San Jose Stealth of the NLL as well as the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the WLA. From 2005 to 2007, he played for the Coquitlam, BC, Adanacs of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League.

The North American Lacrosse League (NALL) was a professional indoor lacrosse league based in the United States. It was founded in 2011 as North America's fourth professional lacrosse league, after American Lacrosse League Major League Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse League. However, a rift in the organization led to the departure of four of the five teams to form the Professional Lacrosse League. After playing only one "full" season that was plagued with canceled games, a franchise folding, and players not showing up for games, the leagues folded.

Patrick Crosby is an American professional indoor lacrosse goaltender from Philadelphia, PA. Crosby played collegiate ice hockey for Temple University of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Crosby has played in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League, Quebec Senior Lacrosse League, Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League as well as with the U.S. Indoor Lacrosse National Developmental Team (2009–2011). Crosby was selected to represent Slovakia at the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship in Prague, CZ. He has played professionally for the Kentucky Stickhorses of the NALL where he was selected as the 3rd overall pick in the 2011 Entry Draft. In 2021, he was signed to the Philadelphia Wings practice squad. Crosby is originally from Sayreville, NJ.

Dillon James Ward is a Canadian professional lacrosse goaltender currently playing for the Colorado Mammoth in the National Lacrosse League and the Philadelphia Waterdogs in the Premier Lacrosse League.

Travis Cornwall is a Canadian professional indoor lacrosse transition who plays for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in the National Lacrosse League. He was drafted in the 1st round in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft. He won the Minto Cup with the Coquitlam Adanacs in 2010. His brother Jeff plays for the Calgary Roughnecks. On October 25, 2022, Cornwall signed with the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.

Nick Rose is a Canadian professional box lacrosse goaltender currently playing for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He is also the current president and general manager of the Orangeville Northmen of the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL). Originally drafted 28th overall by the Rock in the 2008 NLL Entry Draft, he spent time with the Boston Blazers and Calgary Roughnecks before returning to Toronto in 2012.

Brett Dobson is a Canadian lacrosse goalie for the Archers Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League, and as well for the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. He is also a member of the Canada men's national lacrosse team. He represented Team Canada at the 2022 World Games Championship in Birmingham, Alabama, winning the gold medal.
