Giorgi Khmaladze is a Georgian architect graduated in Architecture from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, and a Master of Architecture by the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2012. [1]

Sir David Frank Adjaye is a Ghanaian-British architect. He is the recipient of the 2021 Royal Gold Medal, making him the first African recipient and one of the youngest recipients.
The World Architecture Festival (WAF) is an annual festival and awards ceremony, one of the most prestigious events dedicated to the architecture and development industry. The first four events were held in Barcelona, from 2008 to 2011, at which point the festival moved to Singapore for four years. Since 2016, host cities have included Berlin and Amsterdam. It is the only event where around 550 shortlisted architects present their projects live in crit rooms to a judging panel. One of these projects is awarded the World Building of the Year title. Each year the World Architecture Festival publishes a list of the winners of the awards on their official website.

The UK pavilion at Expo 2010, colloquially known as the Seed Cathedral, was a sculpture structure built by a nine-member conglomeration of British business and government resources directed by designer Thomas Heatherwick. He is the founder of the BERNASKONI bureau. Boris Bernaskoni is a founding member of the Urban Council Board at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow. Boris Bernaskoni first achieved international recognition in 2008 when he won an international competition for the Perm Museum of Modern Art that was juried by Peter Zumthor and had participants like Coop Himmelbau, Zaha Hadid and Asymptote. His Matrex project received high acclaim at the 15th Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2016. In 2019 Bernaskoni participated in several events at the Davos World Economic Forum, talking on transformable architecture in the cities of the future and urban digitalization.
Shelley McNamara is an Irish architect and academic. She founded Grafton Architects with Yvonne Farrell in 1978. Grafton rose to prominence in the early 2010s, specialising in stark, weighty but spacious buildings for higher education. McNamara has taught architecture at University College Dublin since 1976 and at several other universities.
