Rear Admiral Giorgio Lazio is an Italian Navy officer. He is designated as the next[ further explanation needed ] Commander Maritime Command North (Comandante del Comando Marittimo Nord). [1]

He graduated from the Italian Naval Academy in 1983. [2]

He has completed a degree in Maritime and Naval Sciences as well as a master's degree in International Strategic-Military Studies. [2]

Giorgio Chinaglia was an Italian footballer who played as a striker. He grew up and played his early football in Cardiff, Wales, and began his career with Swansea Town in 1964. He later returned to Italy to play for Massese, Internapoli and S.S. Lazio in 1969. Chinaglia led Lazio to the club's first league championship in the 1973–74 season, during which he was also the league's leading scorer. He played international football for Italy, making 14 appearances and scoring 4 goals between 1972 and 1975, including two appearances at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Chinaglia was the first player in Italian football history to be called up internationally from the second division.

James Francis McNulty was a U.S Maritime Service (USMS) Rear Admiral, a United States Navy Captain, and an educator of both Naval Officers and Merchant Marine Officers. He began his naval career in 1953 shortly after graduating from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.with a B.S. in Marine Engineering. He served as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer for twenty-two years, which included service as Commanding Officer on destroyers ,lead speechwriter for the Chief of Naval Operations (Zumwalt), and culminated in his final position as Chief of Staff of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War. and retired from the U.S. Navy in 1977. As a firm believer in "giving back", he went on to serve the next generation as an educator and administrator in the United States Maritime Service, as Academic Dean at Maine Maritime Academy, Head of the Marine Transportation Department at Texas A&M University Maritime Academy, and ultimately as Superintendent of Great Lakes Maritime Academy.
