The Democratic Rally is a Christian democratic and liberal-conservative political party in Cyprus led by Annita Demetriou. The party was founded on 4 July 1976 by veteran politician Glafcos Clerides. Two leaders of the party have served as presidents of Cyprus,Clerides from 1993 until 2003 and Nicos Anastasiades from 2013 to 2023.

Alki Oroklini is a Cypriot football club based in Oroklini. The team was founded as Omonia Oroklinis in 1979. Omonia had one participation in the Fourth Division. In 2014 the team changed their name to Alki Oroklini,when business man Andy Loppas,who became the president of the team,renamed it to Alki as his favorite team was Alki Larnaca FC which was dissolved that year,due to financial problems. Alki managed the outstanding 3 promotions in 3 years from the fourth division to Cypriot first division,the highest tier in Cyprus. They withdrew from the Cypriot Second Division during the 2022–23 season.
AEK Arena –Georgios Karapatakis is a football stadium in Larnaca,Cyprus. Completed in 2016,it is the home ground of AEK Larnaca and has a total seating capacity of 8,058. Since 2021,it also hosts the home games of the Cyprus national team.

Annita Demetriou is a Cypriot politician,who serves as President of the Cypriot House of Representatives since June 2021,and as the President of the Democratic Rally (DISY) since March 2023. The latter role effectively designates her as the Leader of Opposition to the incumbent Christodoulides government.
PΑC Omonia 29M,commonly known as PAC Omonia,ALS Omonia or Omonia 29M,is a Cypriot professional football club based in Nicosia.
