[1] Her career started in the 1960s using dry transfer lettering. [2]

Her work is included in the book Women in Concrete Poetry: 1959-1979 ISBN   978-1734489729. [3] Her 1969 work Capitolo zero can be found in the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona. [4] Her artist's books are in the collection of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. [5]

Sandri work was included in the 59th Venice Biennale. [6] [2]

The Volpi Cup for Best Actress is an award presented by the Venice Film Festival. It is given by the festival jury in honor of an actress who has delivered an outstanding performance from the films in the competition slate. It is named in honor of Count Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata, the founder of the festival. The 1st ceremony was held in 1932, when Helen Hayes received the Volpi Cup for the title role in The Sin of Madelon Claudet (1931)—this was the only time that the award was chosen by public voting. From 1942 to 1945, the festival was suspended because of World War II. The student protests in May 1968 opened a period of institutional changes, with no prizes were awarded from 1969 to 1979.

Dr. Corina L. Apostol is an art curator, educator and writer from Constanța, Romania. She currently serves as an assistant professor of social practice in contemporary art and culture at the University of Amsterdam. Between 2019 and 2023 she was a curator at the Tallinn Art Hall. In 2022 she was appointed the curator of the Estonian pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale held in the Dutch pavilion.
