The Giro della Liguria was an annual multi-day road cycling race that took place in the region of Liguria, Italy. [1]

The race was founded in 2001 as the Giro Riviera Ligure Ponente, and changed names in 2003. In 2005, it was supposed to be a 2.1 event in the inaugural edition of the UCI Europe Tour, however, the race was cancelled.

De Nardi Cycling team

De Nardi was a professional cycling team based in Italy. Founded under a Slovak license, they helped nurture talented young riders. In 2003, the merged with Team Colpack-Astro, and took on Colpack as a co-sponsor. In 2005, Italian hotel group Domina Vacanze sponsored the team, having formerly sponsored a different team. For the 2005 season the team competed in the 2005 UCI ProTour. However, they didn't have the budget of the other teams and produced very few wins. For the 2006 season, the team merged with Team Wiesenhof to create Team Milram. In 2009 an amateur team sponsored by De Nardi and Colpack emerged, now known as Team Colpack.

Ercole Baldini Italian cyclist

Ercole Baldini is a retired Italian cyclist. As an amateur he won an Olympic gold medal in the road race and the world title in the individual pursuit on track, both in 1956. Next year he turned professional, and in 1958 won the world title in the road race and the Giro d'Italia. He continued competing on track and won bronze medals in the individual pursuit at the world championships of 1960 and 1964.

Learco Guerra Italian cyclist

Learco Guerra was an Italian professional road racing cyclist. The highlight of his career was his overall win in the 1934 Giro d'Italia. He was born in San Nicolò Po, a frazione of Bagnolo San Vito in Lombardy, gained the nickname of "Human Locomotive" for his enduring quality in plain stages. After mediocre attempts to play football, Guerra became a professional cyclist in 1928, at 26. The following year he became Italian champion, racing as an independent or semi-professional.

Giro di Toscana Road bicycle race held annually in Tuscany, Italy

The Giro di Toscana is a road bicycle race held annually in Tuscany, Italy. From 2005 to 2014, the race has been organised as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour. The race was not held in 2015. On 4 April 2016 it was announced that the race will return in September 2016 as a three-race challenge, consisting in three one-day races held consecutively in Tuscany. Each race will award points to the best placed riders, and the rider who score most points will win the overall classification of Giro della Toscana. This new edition will be named Giro della Toscana - Memorial Alfredo Martini, in memory of Alfredo Martini, former cyclist and coach of the Italy national cycling team.

Wladimir Belli is an Italian former professional road bicycle racer. He was a professional between 1992 and 2007.

Andrea Ferrigato is an Italian former road bicycle racer. In 2020 he achieved a notable sub3 Argus result from the unseeded menagerie of 4F at the Cape Town Cycle Tour.

Bianchi (cycling team) Italian cycling team

Bianchi was an Italian professional cycling team that was sponsored by and cycled on Bianchi Bicycles. A Bianchi cycling team existed in 1899 which implies that Bianchi was sponsoring professional cycling at a very early stage in the sport. It appears that the team existed from 1899 to 1900, then from 1905 to 1966, then from 1973 until 1984. It existed again in 1993 and for the last time in 2003, as Team Bianchi.
