She is also a four-time all-around U.S. national champion, winning twice as a junior and twice as a senior. With nine World Championships medals, seven of them individual, Liukin is tied with Shannon Miller for the third-highest tally of World Championship medals among U.S. gymnasts. Liukin also tied Miller's record as the American gymnast having won the most medals in a single non-boycotted Olympic Games. In October 2011, Liukin announced that she was returning to gymnastics with the hopes of making a second Olympic team. Liukin did not make the 2012 Olympic team and retired from the sport on July 2, 2012.

Andrade is the first Brazilian female gymnast to medal at an Olympic Games, and she is only the second Brazilian woman to win a gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She is also the 2020 Olympic silver medalist and the 2021 Pan American champion in the all-around and won silver on the uneven bars at the 2021 World Championships and a bronze on the floor exercise at the 2022 World Championships. She was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2021 Pan American Championships and silver at the 2018 Pan American Championships. Ann Carr, also known as Ann Carr-Tunney, is an American gymnast. She was a U.S. National Team member at the 1974 World Gymnastics Championships, as well as at the 1975 Pan American Games where she earned gold medals in the team competition, all-around, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise, and several other international competitions. She was the first woman to receive a full athletic scholarship from Penn State University, where she competed from 1977 through 1980. She led her gymnastics team at Penn State to first place in 1978 and 1980, and finished first individually in the all-around, balance beam, floor and uneven bars in 1978, and second in the all-around in 1980. She received the Broderick Award, the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Meritorious Achievement Award, and Penn State University’s Eric A. Walker Award. She later served as the owner, manager, and coach of the Lakettes Gymnastics Academy in Erie, Pennsylvania, from 1981 through 1985.
