Giulia Miserendino (24 June 2002 in Palermo) is an Italian weightlifter. [1]
She began her career as an athlete in 2015. At the Italian championships in Copertino in 2017 she placed fifth in the 63 kg category, in 2018 in Caltanissetta she placed second, in 2019 Ostia (Rome) she placed third and in 2021 San Marino she was first in the 64 kg category. In the same year she won the European Athletics U20 Championships in Rovaniemi, confirming herself in 2022 in Durrës. She moved up to the 71 kg category. At the 2022 World Championships in Bogotá she placed ninth, setting the Italian record with 233 kg. At the 2023 European Weightlifting Championshi in Yerevan she won the silver medal with 230 kg in total. [2]

Tatiana Yuryevna Kashirina is a Russian Olympic weightlifter, Olympic silver medalist, five time World Champion and eight time European Champion competing in the +90 kg and +75 kg categories until 2018 and +87 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. On 9 September 2023, the Court of Arbitration for Sport annulled over four years of her results due to drugs offenses, stating, "All the competitive results obtained by Tatiana Kashirina from 1 April 2013 until 19 June 2017 were disqualified, with all the resulting consequences, including the forfeiture of any titles, awards, medals, points and prize and appearance money."
Zoe Smith is an English weightlifter. In October 2010 she won a bronze medal in the women's 58kg division at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, her first senior international competition, to become the first English woman to win a Commonwealth Games weightlifting medal. Smith competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and finished 12th in the Women's 58kg division. After missing the 2016 Summer Olympics following an injury, she finished eighth in the 59kg at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Kuo Hsing-chun is a Taiwanese Amis weightlifter, Olympic gold medalist, five time world champion, two time Universiade champion, Asian Games champion, and five time Asian champion, competing in the 58 kg division until 2018 and 59 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. Loredana Elena Toma is a Romanian weightlifter, two time World Champion and four time European Champion competing in the 58 kg and 63 kg categories until 2018 and 64 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. She now competes at the 71kg category. In 2014 she tested positive for Stanozolol and was banned for two years by the International Weightlifting Federation.

Karlos May Nasar is a Bulgarian weightlifter and is one of the youngest weightlifting world record holders ever. At 17 years old, he broke the senior 81kg Clean & Jerk world record to win the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, becoming the second youngest world champion in the history of weightlifting at the age of 17 years and 214 days, only beaten by another Bulgarian - Sevdalin Marinov, who became the world champion in the 52 kg in 1985 when he was 17 years and 47 days old. At 18 years old, Karlos broke the world record again, this time in 89kg to win the gold medal in Clean & Jerk at 2022 World Weightlifting Championships, making him the only male weight lifter to hold world records in two different categories. At the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships he set five new World records in the 89kg event in one day in the Junior and Senior categories.
