Baby Burlesks was a series of Pre-Code short films produced by Educational Pictures in the early 1930s. The series featured three-year-old Shirley Temple in her first screen appearances. In her autobiography, Temple describes the Baby Burlesks series as "a cynical exploitation of our childish innocence," and that the short films were sometimes racist or sexist.

Zombie Ghost Train were an Australian rock band located in Sydney, NSW, Australia. The band formed with Stu Arkoff, Azzy T (drums), and Captain Reckless. In 2007, Azzy T left to pursue other musical ventures and was replaced by JM until 2008. The band released two albums, Glad Rags & Body Bags and Dealing the Death Card, and a seven-track extended play, Monster Formal Wear (2003).

Sitcoms originated in radio, but today are found mostly on television as one of its dominant narrative forms.
Glad Rag Doll is a 1929 American sound part-talkie pre-Code drama film directed by Michael Curtiz, and starring Dolores Costello, Ralph Graves, and Audrey Ferris. In addition to sequences with audible dialogue or talking sequences, the film features a synchronized musical score and sound effects, along with English intertitles. The soundtrack was recorded using the Vitaphone sound-on-disc system. This is one of many lost films of the 1920s, no prints or Vitaphone discs survive, but the trailer survives. The film's working title was Alimony Annie, but was changed match the title of the theme song. The theme song is entilted Glad Rag Doll both played and sung throughout the soundtrack.

After proving herself the best Irish filly of her generation in a brief two-year-old career, she won the British Classic 1,000 Guineas Stakes on her three-year-old debut. Her subsequent racing career was disappointing, but she has had considerable influence as a broodmare.
