Glen Hansen

Glen Hansen (born 1962 or 1963 [1] ) is a Canadian curler from Hinton, Alberta. He currently skips a team on the World Curling Tour.

Hansen with teammates Tiffany Steuber, Les Steuber and Sherry French won the 2015 Alberta mixed championship [2] and represented Alberta at the 2015 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship (played in the Fall of 2014). There the team went 3–3 in their first six games, but were relegated to the seeing pool, where they won their remaining three games, finishing 9th overall.

The next season, Hansen with teammates Doug McLennan, George Parsons and former Olympic silver medallist Don Bartlett won the Alberta men's senior championships. [3] The team represented Alberta at the 2015 Canadian Senior Curling Championships, finishing in first place after the round robin. However, the team would lose in both the semi-final and the bronze medal final.

After 41 years of curling, [4] Hansen and his senior men's team played in his first ever provincial men's championship, the 2016 Boston Pizza Cup. [5] Hansen and his team managed to win two games before being eliminated in the triple knock-out event.

On the World Curling Tour, Hansen won his first tour event win when he won the 2016 Avonair Cash Spiel.

Niklas Edin Swedish curler from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden

Johan Niklas Edin is a Swedish curler. He currently resides in Karlstad, which has been his curling home base since 2008. He holds several sport distinctions. He is the first and the only skip in World Curling Federation (WCF) history to win three Olympic medals – gold (2022), silver (2018), and bronze (2014) and to skip men's curling teams to six World Men's Curling Championship medals. He is also a seven-time European Curling Championship titleholder and also won three silver medals in those championships. He is currently tied with Oskar Eriksson in first place on the WCF-recognized list of championship medals, with thirty-eight in total. He reached the playoffs in thirty-seven Grand Slam of Curling events and won the Pinty's Cup with his current teammates, Oskar Eriksson, Rasmus Wranå, and Christopher Sundgren. With the same lineup in 2022, Edin and his teammates also became the first and only men's curling team to win a fourth consecutive World Men's Curling Championship. Edin has played exclusively in the position of skip since 2007. The team bearing his name has been ranked on the World Curling Tour as high as No. 1, including for most of the 2017–18 season. As of the end of the 2021–22 Curling Season, Team Edin was ranked in the top three teams in the world.

Kevin Koe is a Canadian curler. Koe is a two-time World champion and four-time Canadian champion. He was the skip of the Canadian men's team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

Pat Simmons (curler) Canadian curler

Patrick (Pat) "Simms" Simmons is a Canadian curler. Simmons played on the 2014 and 2015 Canadian champion rink, the latter year as skip. As a skip, he has also represented Saskatchewan in four straight Briers from 2005 to 2008 and again in 2011. He has also represented Alberta twice at the Brier.

Brendan Michael Bottcher is a Canadian curler from Sherwood Park, Alberta. Bottcher is a three-time provincial men's champion, and was the skip of the 2021 Canadian men's championship team, having led Alberta to victory at the 2021 Tim Hortons Brier.

The 2010–11 curling season began in September 2010 and ended in April 2011.

Lori Olson-Johns is a Canadian curler from Edmonton, Alberta. From 2014–2018, she played third for Val Sweeting and with Sweeting, finished runner-up at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and won two grand slam events.

Geoff Walker (curler) Canadian curler

Geoff Walker is a Canadian curler, currently living in Edmonton, Alberta. He currently plays lead for the Brad Gushue rink. He was the Men's World Champion in 2017 and won silver again the following year in 2018. A four-time national champion, he won the Brier in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2022. Walker was a two-time World Junior Champion, when he won gold in 2006 and 2007.

Ryan Jacques is a Canadian curler from Edmonton, Alberta. He is currently the skip of the Alberta Golden Bears men's curling team in university curling and on the World Curling Tour. Jacques was slated to represent Canada at the 2021 World Junior Curling Championships in Beijing, China, but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
