Glen Robinson (born 2 November 1984 in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England) is an English Actor, Director, Musician and Broadcaster.
Joseph trained at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating with first class honours in 2007. [1] He won the Sir John Gielgud Award for Musical Theatre in 2008. [2]
Joseph spent the majority of his Acting career touring the World playing the titular role of Buddy Holly in Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story . [3] [4] as well as playing the role in the revival of the show in London’s West End.
Joseph was one of three owners of PROGRESS Wrestling, [5] a professional wrestling company based in London. He was also the lead commentator for the company, [6] and Executive Producer. The company was formed by Jim Smallman and Jon Briley in March 2012, with Joseph joining them in May of that year. In 2020, Joseph and co-owner Smallman stepped away from the company to focus on their expanding roles at WWE . [7]
Joseph works for WWE as a producer and as part of the European Talent Development team for their NXT UK brand.
In 2014 Joseph released his debut EP, Under Nashville Skies, [8] which reached the top ten of the iTunes country music chart upon its release.

Charles Hardin Holley, known as Buddy Holly, was an American songwriter who was a central and pioneering figure of mid-1950s rock and roll. He was born to a musical family in Lubbock, Texas, during the Great Depression, and learned to play guitar and sing alongside his siblings. Holly's style was influenced by gospel music, country music, and rhythm and blues acts, which he performed in Lubbock with his friends from high school.

The Crickets were an American rock and roll band from Lubbock, Texas, formed by singer-songwriter Buddy Holly in January 1957. Their first hit record, "That'll Be the Day", released in May 1957, peaked at number three on the Billboard Top 100 chart on September 16, 1957. The sleeve of their first album, The "Chirping" Crickets, shows the band line-up at the time: Holly on lead vocals and lead guitar, Niki Sullivan on rhythm guitar, Jerry Allison on drums, and Joe B. Mauldin on bass. The Crickets helped set the template for subsequent rock bands, such as the Beatles, with their guitar-bass-drums line-up, performing their own material. After Holly's death in 1959, the band continued to tour and record into the 1960s and beyond with other band members through to the 21st century.
The Buddy Holly Story is a 1978 American biographical musical drama film directed by Steve Rash which tells the life and career of rock and roll musician Buddy Holly. It features an Academy Award-winning musical score, adapted by Joe Renzetti and Oscar-nominated lead performance by Gary Busey. The film also stars Don Stroud, Charles Martin Smith, Conrad Janis, William Jordan, and Maria Richwine, who plays María Elena Holly.
"That'll Be the Day" is a song written by Buddy Holly and Jerry Allison. It was first recorded by Buddy Holly and the Three Tunes in 1956 and was re-recorded in 1957 by Holly and his new band, the Crickets. The 1957 recording achieved widespread success. Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story is a musical in two acts written by Alan Janes, and featuring the music of Buddy Holly. It opened at the Plymouth Theatre Royal in September 1989 before It transferred to the Victoria Palace Theatre on 12 October 1989. An early example of the jukebox musical, Buddy ran in London's West End for over 12 years, playing 5,140 performances. Janes took over the producing of the show himself in 2004, and Buddy has been on tour extensively in the UK since then, having played Broadway, five U.S. National Tours and numerous other productions around the world. That'll Be The Day is the second and final studio album from Buddy Holly. Decca, Holly's first major record label, after failing to produce a hit single from Holly's early recordings, packaged these 1956 tunes after he had some success with recordings from the Brunswick and Coral labels, especially the previously released single "That'll Be the Day". This is the last album released before his death in a plane crash on February 3, 1959, and is rare among collectors.
