Glenn Sorensen (b. 1968 [1] ) is an artist born in Australia [2] [ where? ] who now lives and works in Sweden. [3] [ citation needed ] He studied at the City Art Institute, Sydney, Australia between 1986 and 1988 and at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, Finland.[ citation needed ]
Gothenburg is the capital of Västra Götaland County in Sweden. It is the second-largest city in Sweden, after the capital Stockholm, and the fifth-largest in the Nordic countries. Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra is a Swedish symphony orchestra based in Gothenburg. The GSO is resident at the Gothenburg Concert Hall at Götaplatsen. The orchestra received the title of the National Orchestra of Sweden in 1997.
Nordstan is a shopping center in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is the largest shopping centre in Sweden in terms of revenue, and with approximately 180 shops and 150 offices. The shopping centre's total area is about 320,000 m2 (3,400,000 sq ft) divided into nine interconnected buildings, where retail and restaurant floor space makes up around 70,000 m2 (750,000 sq ft). The covered streets and squares comprise 8,000 m2 (86,000 sq ft). The companies housed in Nordstan employ approximately six thousand people and the total annual turnover was SEK 4.1 billion in 2013. The main passageways in the centre are public spaces and therefore are open for use after shops have closed. The character of the centre changes after closing time of the shops. The presence of adults is drastically reduced and the premises become a hangout for youth.

He is also known for his opposition to the Lyon-Turin high speed train line, and is being sued for having called for its sabotage. On 19 October 2015, De Luca was cleared of inciting criminal damage. He reacted to the not-guilty verdict declaring that "An injustice has been avoided."

Annika Ström is a Swedish artist, living and working in London, United Kingdom. Ström works mainly with performance art, text, films and sound. Her work addresses subjective states of crisis and insecurity in songs, videos and text pieces displaying self-reflective phrases like "Excuse me I am sorry, Everything in this show can be used against me, I am a better artist than I deserve". In her films Ström draws upon details of everyday life and seemingly insignificant experiences usually accompanied by her own low-fi synth-pop soundtracks. She often works with members of her family. Her films explore the subjects of failure, loss and disappearance. Ström's text works consist of phrases, normally no more than a few words, transcribed onto sheets of paper or, onto a wall. Her videos, songs and text works are structured around the poetic transfiguration of the ordinary. Her work has been featured in many international exhibitions such as Palais de Tokyo, Whitsable Biennale.

Kerstin Kartscher is a German artist who lives and works in London. Her central medium is drawing. Often her works evolve out of combining finely detailed drawings with found objects, or man made materials, that can be merged in installations. Kartscher creates drawings and installations of imaginary worlds populated by nameless heroines who celebrate their femininity, liberated from social, emotional and psychological constraints, within fantastical, elegant and immense landscapes.
Kronhuset, formerly known as Giötheborgz Tyghuhs, is a redbrick building in Västra Nordstaden in Gothenburg. It was constructed during the years 1643–1654 in a Dutch style, and is Gothenburg's joint-oldest secular building along with the Torstenson Palace. The royal architect Simon de la Vallée is believed to have designed the building. The Kronhus was originally used as an arsenal for the city garrison and as a granary to store food reserves so that the city could survive a siege. On December 9, 1927, the ownership of Kronhuset passed from the Swedish state to Gothenburg Municipality. It has been a byggnadsminne, a listed building, since 24 October 1968.
