Glims Farmstead Museum is a museum located in Espoo, Finland and a branch of the Espoo City Museum. [1] Glims tells about farming culture and rural life in the past centuries. The Glims farm was still a working farm in the beginning of the 20th century and it has been a museum since 1958. [1] The museum area is located next to Jorvi Hospital.
The Glims farm has a large yard accompanied by 11 original buildings. Most of the buildings are from the 19th century but the oldest ones were built in the 18th century. [1] The Glims farm is part of the Karvasmäki village which has been inhabited since the Stone Age. [2] The name Glims appeared in formal documents for the first time in the 16th century. [2] The farm was owned by the Lönnberg family between 1800 and 1950. [2] The farm was sold to the city of Espoo in 1950. After that, the farm buildings were used as rental lodgings. [2]

The New Hampshire Farm Museum is a farm museum on White Mountain Highway in Milton, New Hampshire, United States. Three centuries of New Hampshire rural life are presented in the historic farmhouse. The museum includes a 104-foot-long (32 m) three-story great barn with collection of agricultural machinery, farm tools, sleighs and wagons. There are also live farm animals, a nature trail and a museum shop. The museum is located on the former Plumer-Jones Farm, a traditional series of connected buildings with farmhouse dating to the late 18th century and barns dating to the mid 19th century, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Espoo Cathedral is a medieval stone church in Espoo, Finland, and the seat of the Diocese of Espoo of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The cathedral is located in the district of Espoon keskus, near the Espoonjoki river. The oldest parts of the church were completed in the 1480s and it is thus the oldest preserved building in the city. The church became a cathedral in 2004 after the Diocese of Espoo was split off from the Diocese of Helsinki. The cathedral grounds include a graveyard, a vicarage and a parish hall completed in 1995. The hip flask houses are a group of four apartment buildings built in 1959 and 1961 in the Länsikorkee area of the Tapiola district in Espoo, Finland. The buildings have nine floors each and are 30 metres high. They were designed by architect Viljo Revell. The Hip flask houses dominate the appearance of the area and have become a sort of symbol of Tapiola. The Tapiola area is a culturally significant architecture area and the Hip flask houses are among the landmarks of the area.
