Global Communications Academy is an International Baccalaureate school in Hartford, Connecticut that is partnered with Say Yes to Education. It is part of Hartford Public Schools. The school opened on August 25, 2008. [1] It is now officially a Pre-K-12 school as the Class of 2016 graduation to place June 6, 2016.
Eastern Connecticut State University is a public university in Willimantic, Connecticut. Founded in 1889, it is the second-oldest campus in the Connecticut State University System and third-oldest public university in the state. Eastern is located on Windham Street in Willimantic, Connecticut, on 182 acres (0.74 km2) 30 minutes from Hartford, lying midway between New York City and Boston. Although the majority of courses are held on the main campus, select classes take place at Manchester Community College, Capital Community College, and a satellite center in Groton.

The Hartt School is the performing arts conservatory of the University of Hartford, a private university in West Hartford, Connecticut. Founded in 1920 by Julius Hartt and Moshe Paranov, Hartt has been part of the University of Hartford since its charter merged the Hartt College of Music, the Hartford Art School, and Hillyer College to create the university in 1957. The Hartt School offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in music, dance, theatre, and associated disciplines. The Hartt Community Division offers a variety of opportunities in music and dance for students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
The University of Connecticut School of Law is the law school associated with the University of Connecticut and located in Hartford, Connecticut. It is the only public law school in Connecticut and one of only four in New England. As of 2020, it enrolled 488 students.
UConn Health is a healthcare system and hospital, and branch of the University of Connecticut that oversees clinical care, advanced biomedical research, and academic education in medicine. The system is funded directly by the State of Connecticut and the University’s financial endowment. Its primary location, UConn John Dempsey Hospital, is a teaching hospital located in Farmington, Connecticut, in the US. In total, UConn Health comprises the hospital, the UConn School of Medicine, School of Dental Medicine, and Graduate School. Andrew Agwunobi stepped down as the CEO of UConn Health in February 2022 after serving since 2014 for a private-sector job. Bruce Liang was UConn Heath's interim CEO for 2022-2024 and remains dean of the UConn School of Medicine. Andrew Agwunobi returned to UConn Health as Executive Vice President of Health Affairs and CEO beginning May 31, 2024.
William H. Hall High School, also known as Hall High, is a four-year public high school located in West Hartford, in the U.S. state of Connecticut. Opened in 1924, it was named after William Hutchins Hall, who was a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools in West Hartford. The school colors are blue and white, and the school’s mascot is the Titans, formerly the Warriors, after the Board Of Education voted to change it on February 1, 2022. It is one of two public high schools in the West Hartford Public Schools, the other being Conard High School.
Capital Community College is a public community college in Hartford, Connecticut. The only public fully undergraduate institution in the City of Hartford, Capital's roots date to 1967 with the founding of Greater Hartford Community College. In 1992 Capital merged with Hartford State Technical College to become Capital Community-Technical College in a state-mandated consolidation. In 2000, the college's name was changed to Capital Community College.

Operating with 112 watts on 89.9 MHz FM from a tower on top of the Oak Hill School in Hartford, the station has thousands of listeners throughout Hartford County.
Hartford Female Seminary in Hartford, Connecticut was established in 1823, by Catharine Beecher, making it one of the first major educational institutions for women in the United States. By 1826 it had enrolled nearly 100 students. It implemented then-radical programs such as physical education courses for women. Beecher sought the aid of Mary Lyon in the development of the seminary. The Hartford Female Seminary closed towards the later half of the 19th century.
The Jeremy River, named after Jeremy Adams, begins at a drainage just north of Holbrook Pond about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Gilead, Connecticut, and runs for 10.7 miles (17.2 km) to the Salmon River in Colchester, Connecticut. There are many swamps and marshes along the banks of its northern end, the largest of which is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long.
The West Hartford Reservoir recreation area is located on the western edge of West Hartford, Connecticut and 2.5 miles (4.0 km) northeast of Farmington, Connecticut. There are six large reservoirs along the eastern part of the park and a paved cycling trail that winds through the southern portion. The blue-blazed Metacomet Trail follows the highest ridge of the area and the network of trails throughout the area has led this to be a local mecca for mountain bikers, hikers, and trail-runners. The western edge is marked by Deer Cliff, a high rocky ledge that runs for about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-south. The Deer Cliff ledges have a long tradition of climbing routes for local mountaineers, but at this time the private access to the cliff base has been closed to the public. The Revolutionary War Campsite historical site is located near reservoir #6.

Goodwin University is a private university in East Hartford, Connecticut, United States. It was founded in 1962 as the Data Institute Businss School. It became a subsidiary of the University of Bridgeport in January 2021.
Say Yes to Education, Inc. is a U.S. non-profit organization that seeks to improve inner-city education. The main focus of Say Yes is to increase high school and college graduation rates by offering a range of support services to at-risk, economically disadvantaged youths and families, and by pledging full scholarships for a college or vocational education to children living in poverty.
