Godcaster released their debut album, Long Haired Locusts, in 2020. [6] This album garnered the attention of some music publications, who gave the album positive reviews. Pitchfork reviewer Zach Schonfeld described Godcaster's debut Long Haired Locusts as 'teetering right on the edge of irredeemable obnoxiousness, daring you to resist their charm and lightning-fast musicianship.' [14] For their self-titled effort, Pitchfork reviewer Zhenzhen Yu felt that "the band maintains its characteristic mayhem and mythology while continuing to diversify."' [15]

Ska punk is a fusion genre that mixes ska music and punk rock music together. Ska punk tends to feature brass instruments, especially horns such as trumpets, trombones and woodwind instruments like saxophones, making the genre distinct from other forms of punk rock. It is closely tied to third wave ska which reached its zenith in the mid-1990s.
Interpol is an American rock band from Manhattan, New York. Formed in 1997, their original line-up consisted of Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler, Carlos Dengler, and Greg Drudy (drums). Drudy left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Sam Fogarino. Dengler left to pursue other projects in 2010, with Banks taking on the additional role of bassist instead of hiring a new one.
