Dion Beebe A.C.S. A.S.C. is an Australian–South African cinematographer. Originally from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, his family moved to Cape Town, South Africa, in 1972. Dion studied cinematography at the Australian Film Television and Radio School from 1987 to 1989. Beebe was nominated for an Academy Award and a BAFTA for his work on Rob Marshall's Chicago, and won the 2006 Academy Award for his work on the director's later Memoirs of a Geisha. He is known for his use of stylized, highly saturated colour palettes and for his experimental use of high-speed digital video on Michael Mann's Collateral and Miami Vice. He is also a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). Dion was inducted into the Australian Cinematography Society's Hall of Fame at the National Awards on 16 May 2020.

The Grote Nederlandse Larousse Encyclopedie is a Dutch-language encyclopaedia based on the French Grand Larousse encyclopédique, which appeared from 1971 to 1979 in 25 volumes. <i>Portrait of a Man with Carnation</i> 15th-century painting

Portrait of a Man with Carnation is a small oil on oakwood painting usually attributed to the Early Netherlandish master Jan van Eyck or a member of his workshop. Based on dendrochronological examination of the wood, it is thought to have been completed relatively late in van Eycks career, perhaps around 1436. It is now in the Gemäldegalerie, Berlin. The sitter wears a large grey fur lined hat, and grey clothes, fur lined at the neck. holds a small bunch of carnations, symbols of marriage. He has not been identified, but wears the medal of the Order of Saint Anthony, established by Albert I, Duke of Bavaria. The man is older, probably in his early 50s, and has a coarse, rough look.

The Cover-up General is a non-fiction thriller by Dutch author Edwin F. Giltay, first published in 2014. The book describes an espionage scandal he witnessed first-hand, within military intelligence of the Armed forces of the Netherlands. At the root of it all was the infamous film roll of Srebrenica depicting war crimes, which was misdeveloped by a navy photo laboratory.
