Goidhoo School is a small school located in Sh. Goidhoo, Maldives. It is the only primary school in the island, being built in the 1990s. The school is used for various competitions such as Quran competitions, Symposiums, award ceremonies, and sporting events. [1]

In 2021, the Ministry of Finance solicited a bid for the construction of eight classrooms at Goidhoo School. [2] The contract was ultimately awarded to Afami Maldives Private Limited in 2022. [3]

The Maldives national cricket team represents the country of the Maldives in international cricket. Although they did not become an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) until 2001, they have taken part in the ACC Trophy on every occasion since its inception in 1996. The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway is a 1,350 km long, 8-lane wide under-construction access-controlled expressway connecting India's national capital New Delhi to its financial capital Mumbai. The foundation stone for the project was laid by union minister Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley on 8 March 2019. The total project value including the land acquisition cost is around ₹1,00,000 crores. An additional 31 km long spur will also be constructed by the NHAI from Noida International Airport in Jewar to Sector-65, Faridabad on this expressway.

The COVID-19 pandemic in Maldives was a part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus was confirmed to have spread to Maldives on 7 March 2020 from a 69-year-old Italian tourist who had returned to Italy after spending holidays in Kuredu Resort & Spa. The Health Protection Agency of Maldives confirmed two cases in Maldives, both employees of the resort. Following this, the hotel was locked down with several tourists stranded on the island. As of 11 March, the resorts of Kuredu, Vilamendhoo, Batalaa, and Kuramathi island were also placed under temporary quarantine. Schools were closed as a precaution.

<i>Rap Sh!t</i> American comedy television series

Rap Sh!t is an American comedy television series created by Issa Rae for HBO Max. The show is produced by Hoorae Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment and centers on two Miami-based rappers who try to find success in the music industry. The series debuted at the American Black Film Festival on June 18, 2022, and was released on July 21, 2022. It was renewed for a second season in September 2022, which premiered on November 9, 2023. The season was originally set to debut on August 10, 2023, but was delayed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. In January 2024, the series was canceled after two seasons.

<i>Hehes</i> 2022 Maldivian film

Hehes is a 2022 Maldivian suspense thriller film directed by Ahmed Nimal. Produced by Ismail Shafeeq and Ali Shaniz Mohamed under Eupe Productions and Shy Production, the film stars Yoosuf Shafeeu, Ibrahim Jihad, Ali Azim, Shiyaza Mohamed, Washiya Mohamed, Irufana Ibrahim and Mariyam Shifa in pivotal roles. The film was released on 2 May 2022, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1443.

Isidora Sekulić Gymnasium is a secondary school in Novi Sad, Serbia. It is named after Isidora Sekulić, a famous Serbian writer. It was founded in 1990.
