Golam Mohammad Siraj (born 15 January 1950), [1] known as GM Siraj, [2] is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician. He served as a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Bogra-5 and Bogra-6 constituencies [3] [4] [5] He resigned from the latest position on 11 December 2022. [6]
Siraj is an elected to parliament from Bogra-6 of 11th Parliament [7] and from Bogura-5 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party with in total 5 times MP. He is also the chairman of SR group. [8] [9]
Tarique Rahman also known as Tarique Zia is a Bangladeshi politician and businessman who became acting chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in February 2018. He is the eldest son of former president Ziaur Rahman and former two-time prime minister Khaleda Zia. He was born on 20 November 1965,Tarique was involved in politics from a young age and rose to prominence in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) during his mother's tenure as prime minister in the early 2000s. In 2018,he was sentenced to life imprisonment for organising the 2004 Dhaka grenade attack.

As the 11th parliament is scheduled to be expire on 29 January 2024 and the Election Commission has announced to hold the next Bangladeshi general election between late December 2023 to early January 2024,all candidates elected by these by-polls will be members of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad.
