GolfStyles (formerly the Washington Golf Monthly) is a regional golf magazine published in Fairfax, Virginia, and serving the Washington D.C. area. The magazine was started in 1994. It is also published in four other regional markets: Philadelphia, New Jersey, Ohio, and Atlanta. [1] In early 2007, total circulation was more than 315,000 per issue. [2]

Golfstyles bills itself as "America's best regional golf magazine" [3] and was described as "world class" by course architect Arthur Hills. [4] The publisher is Michael Keating, and the managing editor is Jeff Thoreson. [5] Golf Business Wire calls it "America's best golf magazine with a regional focus." [6]

On March 4, 2006, GolfStyles Media Group began a related radio program, "GolfStyles Live," which Golf Business Wire describes as a "hit weekly radio show." [7] WNTP vice president/general manager Russ Whitnah acknowledges GolfStyles magazine "a recognized leader in the golf publications industry." [7]

Sandy Lane is a luxury five-star beachfront resort close to Holetown and Paynes Bay on the island of Barbados. The Shops at La Cantera is an open-air regional shopping mall located in La Cantera, San Antonio, near the Texas State Highway Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 interchange, on the city's Northwest Side. The initial phase of the project opened on September 16, 2005. The 1,300,000-square-foot (120,000 m2) center sits on a 150-acre (0.61 km2) site in La Cantera, a 1,700-acre (6.9 km2) master-planned resort community developed by USAA Real Estate Company. La Cantera is also home to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, La Cantera Resort & Spa and two world-class golf courses, The Palmer Course at La Cantera and the Resort Course, which was home to the PGA Valero Texas Open.

King Kamehameha Golf Course Clubhouse

The King Kamehameha Golf Course Clubhouse, formerly known as the Waikapu Valley Country Club, is a building in Waikapu, Maui, Hawaii. The structure is based on the unbuilt Arthur Miller house (1957) originally conceived by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright (1867–1959). Wright designed the house for Arthur Miller's wife, Marilyn Monroe (1926–1962), but Miller and Monroe divorced soon after and the project was abandoned. The Arthur Miller house design was a modification of two previous unbuilt projects—the Raúl Baillères house (1952) and before it, the Robert F. Windfohr house (1949), also known as the "Crownfield" house.

Lee Schmidt is a golf course architect and principal of Schmidt-Curley Design Inc. He was raised in Carmel, Indiana and currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. Schmidt is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) and currently serves on its executive committee.

Michael John Hurdzan Golf Course Architect

Michael John Hurdzan is an American golf course architect, author, and a retired United States Army Colonel, who served with the United States Army Special Forces. He is a member and past president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), who is noted for designing and renovating many golf courses and clubs, including U.S. Open golf courses.

GolfNow is an online booking service for tee times at golf courses. Originally established in 2001 by Cypress Golf Solutions in Scottsdale, Arizona, it was acquired by Comcast via its Golf Channel unit in March 2008. Since Comcast's purchase of NBC Universal, the website now operates as part of the NBC Sports Digital unit.

Trump National Golf Club Westchester is a private golf club in Briarcliff Manor, New York. The 140-acre (57 ha) course has eighteen holes, with a 75,000-square-foot (7,000 m2) clubhouse. Founded in 1922 as Briarcliff Country Club, it later operated as Briar Hills Country Club and Briar Hall Golf and Country Club. Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, purchased the property in 1996 and renamed the club after its county, Westchester, in a similar manner to his other golf properties. He had the clubhouse and course rebuilt for its 2002 reopening; the course was designed by Jim Fazio. Donald Trump served as president over Trump National Golf Club LLC from August 2000 until January 19, 2017, the day before his inauguration.
