Gonzalo Garavano (born 26 November 1982 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine retired football forward. [1]
He has played for Olmedo in the Ecuadorian Serie A. [2] Garavano has played for Estrela da Amadora in Portugal. Garavano had a spell in the lower leagues of Italian football with U.S. Ragusa and U.S. Paolana. He has also played for Alianza F.C. in El Salvador, AC Mineros de Guayana in Venezuela, Coquimbo Unido in Chile, Nacional Potosi in Bolivia, and Perlis FA in the Malaysia Premier League.
He is the older brother of the also professional footballer Matías Garavano, with whom he coincided in Rampla Juniors and Empalme Central. [3] [4]
Rampla Juniors Fútbol Club, commonly known as Rampla Juniors, is a Uruguayan football club based in Montevideo. The team was actively playing the 2021 season by January 2021. In their home stadium, Rampla won the Uruguayan championship in 1927. In 2019, the Rampla Juniors Fútbol Club had Estadio Olímpico, with 6,000 capacity, as its home stadium. Fans are nicknamed "The Flintstones", as they helped build the team's home stadium in the 1960s, which resembled a quarry.
