Graeme Cordy (born 23 October 1962) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray and the Sydney Swans in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Like his two older brothers, Brian and Neil, Cordy started his career at Footscray. [1] The Traralgon recruit would however only manage six appearances for the club, before moving to Sydney in 1987, with his brother Neil. A key forward, he played 10 games for Sydney in each of his first two seasons, but struggled with injuries. [2] He joined the Wodonga Football Club after leaving Sydney.

After two seasons with the Giants and failing to play a senior match, he was traded to Carlton during the 2016 trade period. He made his debut in the forty-three point loss against Richmond in the opening round of the 2017 season at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Pickett managed 17 games across the 2017 and 2018 seasons for Carlton, but spent a significant period sidelined with injury in late 2018. On June 11, 2019, Carlton announced that Pickett had been released from his contract.

Nic Newman

Nic Newman is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He made his debut in the twenty-three point loss against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium in round 2, 2017. At the conclusion of the 2018 season, Newman was traded to Carlton. He made his debut for Carlton in the Round 1 match against Richmond at the MCG. Newman impressed, gathering 26 disposals and kicking a classy goal in the 33 point loss. In his second game against his former club, Newman collected 32 disposals in a best on ground performance. His efforts were a pivotal part in Carlton’s fourth win of the 2019 season.

He was drafted by Sydney with their third selection and fifty-sixth overall in the 2015 national draft. He made his debut in the one point loss against Collingwood at the Sydney Cricket Ground in round three of the 2017 season.
