Graham Oakey (born 5 October 1954) is an English former footballer who made 88 Football League appearances for Coventry City. [1] [2]

Oakey was a product of Coventry's youth development system. He made his league debut in a home 2-2 draw against Manchester City in September 1974. His career was cut short by a knee injury sustained at Villa Park in December 1977. [3]

John Charles Sillett was an English football player and manager. He played for Chelsea, Coventry City and Plymouth Argyle. The 1990–91 season was Coventry City's 24th consecutive campaign in the Football League First Division, following their promotion from the Second Division in 1967. The club started the season with John Sillett in charge, three years after he and George Curtis had managed the club to victory in the 1986–87 FA Cup. Sillett left the club in November after a run of poor results, and was replaced by Terry Butcher who arrived as a player-manager from Rangers.
