Graham Roland is an American writer and producer. In 2022, he created the crime thriller series Dark Winds on AMC .
Roland is known for his work as a writer on the FOX series Prison Break and on the final season of the ABC mystery series Lost . He also worked as a writer and co-producer on Fringe . [1]
He served as a writer and co-producer on the FOX crime/horror series Almost Human until it was cancelled on April 29, 2014. [2] In 2015, he wrote two episodes of the United States remake of The Returned and has produced all 10-episodes of the first season. He wrote the story and executive produced the Mark Wahlberg espionage action thriller Mile 22 , directed by Peter Berg. [3] He is currently working on the action political thriller web television series Jack Ryan , based on characters from the fictional "Ryanverse" created by Tom Clancy. He co-created it with Carlton Cuse. [4] [5]
He is also an Iraq War veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2006. [6] He is of Native American heritage. [7] Roland is a Chickasaw Nation citizen. [8]

Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital is a 2013 non-fiction book by the American journalist Sheri Fink. The book details the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans in August 2005, and is an expansion of a Pulitzer Prize-winning article written by Fink and published in The New York Times Magazine in 2009. It describes the events that took place at Memorial Medical Center over five days as thousands of people were trapped in the hospital without power. The triage system put into effect deprioritized critically ill patients for evacuation, and it was later alleged that a number of these patients were euthanized by medical and nursing staff shortly before the entire hospital was evacuated on the fifth day of the crisis. Fink examines the legal and political consequences of the decision to euthanize patients and the ethical issues surrounding euthanasia and health care in disaster scenarios. The book was well received by most critics and won three awards, including a National Book Critics Circle Award for non-fiction.

After its premiere, the series was renewed for a six-episode second season, which premiered on July 30, 2023. In September 2023, the series was renewed for a third season.
