Graham George Wilkins (born 28 June 1955 in Hillingdon) is an English retired professional football full back who made over 130 appearances in the Football League for Chelsea. He also played league football for Brentford and Southend United.
Able to play on either flank as a full back, Wilkins began his career at Chelsea at the age of 10 and signed his first professional contract in 1972. [2] [3] He remained a bit-part player until the 1976–77 season, when he made 29 appearances to help the Blues to promotion back to the First Division. [4] [5] Wilkins remained at Stamford Bridge until July 1982, by which time he had made 151 appearances and scored one goal. [4] He dropped down to the Third Division to join West London neighbours Brentford on a free transfer, [3] but with the Bees he experienced "the worst two years of my life. I dislocated my shoulder, had seven teeth kicked out, ruptured my cruciate ligaments and that was it". [2] Wilkins' final appearances as a professional came late in the 1983–84 season, on loan at Third Division club Southend United. [3]
Wilkins was the son of footballer George Wilkins and the eldest of four Hillingdon-born brothers who played professional football. [6] He later worked at Heathrow Airport. [6]

Graham Mark Benstead is an English retired professional footballer who made over 110 appearances as a goalkeeper in the Football League for Brentford. He also played League football for Sheffield United, Colchester United, Norwich City and was capped by England at youth and semi-pro level. Benstead is goalkeeping coach at Frimley Green.

Alan Victor Nelmes is an English retired professional footballer who made over 300 appearances as a defender in the Football League for Brentford. He was inducted into the club's Hall of Fame in November 2014.
John Joseph Graham is a Scottish former professional football player and manager who played as a central midfielder and inside left. He is best remembered for the decade he spent in the Football League with Brentford, for whom he made over 400 appearances. Graham was voted into the Brentford Hall of Fame in December 2013.

He spent the majority of his career in the Football League with Brentford and Wycombe Wanderers and captained both clubs. He is a member of the Brentford Hall of Fame. After his retirement from football, Evans served as caretaker manager, assistant manager and physiotherapist at Wycombe Wanderers. After leaving football, he worked in physiotherapist roles at a number of rugby union clubs.

During the 1993–94 English football season, Brentford competed in the Football League Second Division. In a season of transition, a failure to win any of the final 16 league matches ended all hopes of a finish in the play-off places.
During the 1972–73 English football season, Brentford competed in the Football League Third Division. The early-season departures of goalscorers John O'Mara and Bobby Ross and 15 consecutive away league defeats led to Brentford's relegation straight back to the Fourth Division.
During the 1974–75 English football season, Brentford competed in the Football League Fourth Division. After a poor first half of the season, manager Mike Everitt was sacked and replaced by John Docherty, who produced a strong run of results to finish the campaign in 8th place.

The high point of a mid-table season was a run to the fourth round of the League Cup, then the furthest the club had then progressed in the competition.
