Grant Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Old Dominion Monarchs. He previously played for the Fordham Rams.
Wilson grew up in Arlington, Virginia, and attended Yorktown High School where he played football and lacrosse. As a senior, he completed 179 out of 264 passing attempts for 2,632 yards and 24 touchdowns. He was a two-time District 6A Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-District selection, and Offensive Player of the Year. Despite coming out of high school unranked, he received interest from schools such as Howard and Fairmont State. He ultimately chose to play at Fordham University, a private college in New York. Wilson did not see action during his true freshman season. In 2021, He appeared in three games during his sophomore season and completed six out of eight passing attempts for 52 yards. [4] During his game against Bucknell, Wilson completed a perfect four out of four passing attempts for 36 yards. [5] [3] During the 2022 season, he appeared in four games and completed four out of five passing attempts for 41 yards and two touchdowns. [6] [7] On December 6, 2022, Wilson announced that he had entered the transfer portal. Two days later, on December 8, he announced that he would be transferring to Old Dominion. [2]
During the 2023 season, Wilson was named as the starting quarterback. [8] After his second game with the Monarchs, in which he threw four touchdowns in a win against Louisiana, he was named to the Davey O'Brien Award's Great 8 List and the DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Player of the Week. He leads the Monarchs to a 5–5 record in the regular season and an appearance in the 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl. They lost 38–35 against Western Kentucky [9] [10]

John Matthew Stafford is an American professional football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was selected first overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL draft. The Old Dominion Monarchs football program represents Old Dominion University in U.S. college football. The first iteration of the team created in 1930 was known as the William & Mary Norfolk Division Braves. Founded in 2009, the current Monarchs team competed as an FCS independent for their first two seasons. In the 2011 season, they joined the Colonial Athletic Association and added conference games to their schedule, playing there until joining the Conference USA of the FBS in 2014. They joined the Sun Belt Conference in 2022.

The team compiled a 9–2 record, in the first season under the guidance of head coach Bobby Wilder. The Monarchs competed as an independent. The team's home games were played at Foreman Field.
The 2012 Old Dominion Monarchs football team represented Old Dominion University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by fourth-year head coach Bobby Wilder and played their home games at Foreman Field at S. B. Ballard Stadium. This was their final year as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). In 2013, they began a two-year transition to the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), where they became a member of Conference USA. They finished the season 11–2, 7–1 in CAA play to finish in first place. As a departing member from the CAA, they were ineligible for the CAA championship. They received an at–large bid to the FCS Playoffs, where they defeated Coastal Carolina in the second round before falling in the quarterfinals to Georgia Southern.

He played college football for the Old Dominion Monarchs and signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2015. In its fourth season under head coach Tom Masella, the team compiled a 5–6 record and played its home games at Jack Coffey Field in The Bronx.
The 2021 Myrtle Beach Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 20, 2021, at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina. The second edition of the Myrtle Beach Bowl, the game featured the Old Dominion Monarchs of Conference USA and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane of the American Athletic Conference. The game began at 2:30 p.m. EST and was televised on ESPN. It was one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Tax preparation software company TaxAct served as the game's presenting sponsor; the game was officially known as the Myrtle Beach Bowl presented by TaxAct.
The 2022 Lehigh Mountain Hawks football team represented Lehigh University as a member of the Patriot League during the 2022 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Mountain Hawks, led by fourth-year head coach Tom Gilmore, played their home games at Goodman Stadium. They finished the season 2–9, 2–4 in Patriot League play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place. Gilmore resigned at the end of the season.

He played college football for the Fordham Rams, where he was a three-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and named a FCS All-American in 2022. DeMorat is first in Fordham and Patriot League history in passing yards (13,454), passing touchdowns (123), and completions (1,032). DeMorat was briefly a member of the Washington Commanders in 2023.
