Brunswick County is a United States county located on the southern border of the Commonwealth of Virginia. This rural county is known as one of the claimants to be the namesake of Brunswick stew. Brunswick County was created in 1720 from parts of Prince George, Surry and Isle of Wight counties. The county was named for the former Duchy of Brunswick-Lunenburg, the region from which the British monarchs of the House of Hanover originated. As of the 2020 census, the county population was 15,849. The Brunswick county seat is Lawrenceville.

The Queen Mother Champion Chase is a Grade 1 National Hunt steeplechase in Great Britain which is open to horses aged five years or older. As part of a sponsorship agreement with the online betting company Betway, the race is now known as the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase. It is run on the Old Course at Cheltenham over a distance of about 2 miles, and during its running there are thirteen fences to be jumped. The race is scheduled to take place each year during the Cheltenham Festival in March.
A steeplechase is a distance horse race in which competitors are required to jump diverse fence and ditch obstacles. Steeplechasing is primarily conducted in Ireland, Great Britain, Canada, United States, Australia, and France. The name is derived from early races in which orientation of the course was by reference to a church steeple, jumping fences and ditches and generally traversing the many intervening obstacles in the countryside.

Hortobágyi palacsinta is a savoury Hungarian crêpe dish, filled with meat. The meat is prepared as a stew with onions, and seasoned with hot paprika, garlic, salt and pepper, using veal, beef, chicken or Hungarian sausage. The sauce is drained from the stew and set aside. The crêpes are then filled with the stew, tucking in the ends. The sauce is then poured generously over the crepes, topped with and tejföl and fresh parsley. A popular serving option in Hungary to roll up the filled crêpes, or fold them into half and then rolling them up on the shorter side. The rolled up crêpes then can be stacked on each other with the sauce poured over them.

Contested over 312 laps, it was the thirty-fifth as well as the ninth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup during the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The race was won by Kevin Harvick for Richard Childress Racing, his 22nd career victory and final win in RCR's No. 29 as he moved to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014. Kasey Kahne finished second, and Jimmie Johnson clinched third.
