Greater Manchester Tenants Union

The Greater Manchester Tenants Union is a tenants' union in the United Kingdom. The union was founded in 2020 when its predecessor, Tenants Union UK, chose to focus efforts on building a union at the local level. [1]

The union has worked with Manchester City FC Fans Foodbank Support to provide free housing advice for dealing with housing insecurity to those attending Manchester City FC home games. [2]

The union has called for regulations against Airbnb and other short-term lets. [1] In 2021, the union published a report on the impacts of short-term lets on housing. [3] [4]

The union is run by an elected committee. [1] [5]
