Greg Lake (born 1960 as Gregory Alan Whaley) has been a Florida radio personality for nearly 20 years.
He was born in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. and moved to Florida in the late 1970s to attend Flagler College in St. Augustine, where he met and married his wife, Kathy.
Moving to South Florida, he launched his radio career at WKGR 98.7 (Ft. Pierce, Florida) where he stayed until the station was sold. He then followed the entire on-air staff to then WAKS-FM 103.7 (Fort Myers, Florida) where they stayed until it too was eventually sold. Once again, the entire on-air staff returned to the east coast of Florida to take over WZZR 92.7 (Port St. Lucie, Florida) where he continued his program The Dead Zone until the end of 1994 when he took over the morning drive show. He remained there until the spring of 1996 when he was let go for sagging ratings. Lake then, moved to Daytona Beach and started his own advertising agency (Alternative Advertising). After four years in the advertising business, he was offered, and accepted, the production director post at WELE 1380, Ormond Beach.
After a year, as production director he was promoted to the program director position. At the height of the 2000 United States presidential election, Lake launched and hosted his own politically driven, morning call-in talk show called Radio Free Volusia which aired worldwide on the internet and locally on WELE five days a week, until his final show on April 25, 2008.
During the eight years of daily shows, Lake interviewed hundreds of famous national political figures, captains of industry, and celebrities in the entertainment field. Along with his often controversial interview style, Lake was also a source for breaking news stories. Many of those stories were in the wake of the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks.

The Granada Bridge is a high-clearance bridge that spans the Halifax River and Intracoastal Waterway, linking the mainland and beach peninsula parts of Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida. Granada Bridge carries four lanes of State Road 40 and Granada Blvd. The Casements, along with City Hall Plaza, Fortunato Park, and Riverbridge Park reside at the four corners of Ormond Beach's Granada Bridge, which give their collective name to the annual "Four Corners Festival" in Ormond Beach.
The St. Johns-Indian River Barge Canal was a planned canal in the state of Florida, 35.2 miles (56.6 km) in length and linking the Intracoastal Waterway and the Indian River 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Oak Hill with the St. Johns River, originally intended to be just south of Lake Harney, but later shifted to be near Lake Monroe, with all but three miles of the route within Volusia County. However, by 1968 the more southerly Lake Harney alignment had returned to favor.

The Francis P. Whitehair Bridge, also known as the Crows Bluff Bridge, is a double leaf bascule bridge located in Crows Bluff, Florida that carries State Road 44 over the St. Johns River. Larry Kelly is an American politician and logistics engineer. He served as the mayor of Daytona Beach, Florida for twelve consecutive terms from 1974 to 1993. He was instrumental with getting MTV to showcase Spring Break in Daytona Beach in 1986–1993, though later lamented it was a mistake because locals experienced many problems during Spring Break every year. He spent his last few years as mayor trying to control Spring Break partiers. Soon after he lost his election bid in 1993, Daytona cut ties with MTV.
Biketoberfest is an annual motorcycle rally held in the fall in Daytona Beach, Florida since 1991 or 1992. In 1992 it was known as "Daytona Fall Tour"; in 1993, it started to be called Biketoberfest, and is now known as the "little brother" of the spring Daytona Beach Bike Week event. Attendance for Biketoberfest 2013 was estimated to be c. 100,000 visitors.
