Greg Michael is an American second unit director, writer, producer, and director, best known for his work with filmmaker Stephen Sommers.
Michael is a frequent collaborator of Stephen Sommers, having served as second unit director on many of his films starting with 1993's The Adventures of Huck Finn and going all the way to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra .[ citation needed ]
In 1999, Michael co-wrote the film Baby Geniuses alongside the film's director Bob Clark as well as serving as second unit director on Sommers' remake of The Mummy as well as its 2001 sequel The Mummy Returns directed again by Sommers and its 2002 prequel spin-off film The Scorpion King directed by Chuck Russell. Michael has also been an assistant professor in the Department of Cinematic Arts at the Azusa Pacific University. [4]
