Gregory Peebles (died October 14, 2013) was an American tennis player. [1]
Peebles grew up in Hawaii, where he topped the junior tennis rankings. [2] In 1973 he qualified for the main draw of the 1973 Wimbledon Championships as a lucky loser and was beaten in the first round by West German Karl Meiler. [3]
Gregory Rusedski is a British-Canadian former professional tennis player. He was the British No. 1 in 1997, 1999 and 2006, and reached the ATP ranking of world No. 4 for periods from 6 October 1997 to 12 October 1997 and from 25 May 1998 to 21 June 1998.

Donald Oliver Young Jr. is an American professional tennis and pickleball player with the American League PPA. Young had a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 38 achieved on 27 February 2012 and doubles ranking of No. 43 achieved on 14 August 2017. As a junior he was ranked No. 1 in the world in 2005. His best singles performance in the Grand Slams was reaching the fourth round of the 2011 US Open, as well as the 2015 US Open. In doubles he reached the final of the 2017 French Open partnering Santiago González.
Three-time defending champion Pete Sampras defeated Patrick Rafter in the final, 6–7(10–12), 7–6(7–5), 6–4, 6–2 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2000 Wimbledon Championships. It was Sampras' seventh Wimbledon title and 13th Grand Slam title overall. The win equaled William Renshaw's all-time record of Wimbledon titles, and was an Open Era record in the Gentleman's Singles until 2017, when Roger Federer won his eighth title. His victory also meant he surpassed Roy Emerson as the overall leader in men's major singles titles.

Vladimir Viktorovich Korotkov is a retired Soviet tennis player who won three Junior Grand Slam tournaments, Wimbledon Juniors in 1964, 1965 and French Juniors in 1965. He also won the mixed doubles at the 1968 Summer Olympics where tennis was a "demonstration sport". He won the men's doubles event at the 1973 Summer Universiade and the 1977 USSR singles championship. From 1981 until his retirement in 1996, Korotkov was coaching at several sports clubs.

Donald Philip Tregonning was an Australian professional tennis player and coach. Tregonning, a student of Melbourne coach Mick Sweetnam, was a member of the international amateur and professional tennis communities, reaching the mixed doubles semi finals of the 1953 Australian Open, playing twice in the quarter-finals of doubles competitions at the Australian Open and reaching the quarter-finals of the Wembley Professional Championships in 1953. Tregonning played in a famous 1953 Australian Championships Round 1 match in which the umpire left the grounds to "go to (his) tea".
