Lieberum was raised in Berkeley, California and educated at University of California, Santa Cruz. [1]
Berkeley is a city on the east shore of San Francisco Bay in northern Alameda County, California. It is named after the 18th-century Irish bishop and philosopher George Berkeley. It borders the cities of Oakland and Emeryville to the south and the city of Albany and the unincorporated community of Kensington to the north. Its eastern border with Contra Costa County generally follows the ridge of the Berkeley Hills. The 2010 census recorded a population of 112,580.

Her albums Siren Songs (2005) and When This Kiss Is Over It Will Start Again (2009) were independently released in the United States.
Lieberum has been a member of Princess, a Prince cover band formed with comedian Maya Rudolph. She and Rudolph became friends while they were students at UC Santa Cruz. [1] At the time, they were members of a funk band named Supersauce, where they discovered their mutual interest in Prince. They have performed at the Hollywood Bowl and on the TV show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. [3]

Rudolph first gained prominence in the mid-1990s as a member of the alternative rock band The Rentals before joining The Groundlings improv troupe later in the decade. In 2000, Rudolph became a cast member on the NBC television series Saturday Night Live and subsequently appeared in supporting roles in films such as 50 First Dates (2004) and A Prairie Home Companion (2006).

The Donnas are an American rock band formed in Palo Alto, California in 1993. They consisted of Brett Anderson, Allison Robertson, Maya Ford and Amy Cesari. Cesari replaced Torry Castellano, who left the band in 2009 due to tendonitis. They draw inspiration from Ramones, The Runaways, AC/DC, Bachman–Turner Overdrive and Kiss. Rolling Stone has stated that "the Donnas offer a guileless take on adolescent alienation; they traffic in kicks, not catharsis, fun rather than rage". MTV has stated that the band offers "a good old-fashioned rock & roll party". After gathering a cult following in the punk scene since their 1997 debut, the band achieved major label commercial success in the early 2000s and afterward as their music mixed punk, metal and classic rock sounds.
