Grete Salomonsen is a Norwegian director of family films. She is probably best known for directing Kamilla and the Thief (1988), its sequel and Yohan: The Child Wanderer (2010) produced by Penelopefilm AS. [1] The first film she directed for the big screen was PIPP, a film for very young children.

Kamilla and the Thief is a Norwegian family movie from 1988 directed by Grete Salomonsen and produced by her husband Odd Hynnekleiv. The movie is an adaption from a Norwegian children's novel by Kari Vinje, and is the first feature film of renowned Norwegian actor Dennis Storhøi and also stars 1980s pop idol Morten Harket in a minor role. Kamilla and the Thief was a huge success in Norway, selling half a million tickets. It was so popular that a sequel was made, Kamilla and the Thief II, which was released the year after. In 2005 both movies were digitally restored and released on DVD.

Grete Brochmann is a Norwegian sociologist and Professor at the University of Oslo. Her main research field is international migration. As of 2012, she is head of department for the Department of Sociology and Human Geography. She has been a visiting scholar the University of Louvain (UCLouvain) and the University of California, Berkeley. She chaired the Norwegian Welfare and Migration Committee, the so-called Brochmann Committee.

Grete Anita Dyb is a Norwegian psychiatrist and terrorism researcher. She is a research professor at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies and a professor in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Oslo Institute of Clinical Medicine.
