Grzegorz Adam Urbanowski (born 24 December 1959 in Pultusk), Polish ultramarathon racewalker. Sports career started as a cyclist, then for a short period competed in long-distance running, finally settling on a sporty gait. In 1990, he won the Polish Championship, and in 1991 the title of vice-Polish 50 km (3:58:19 - RZ) since 1992, specializes in marches at distances of 200 km or more. He won ten times (in the years 1994, 1996-1998, 2001–03, 2005-07 [1] ) the Paris-Colmar, setting a historical record for the competition previously held by Roger Quemener.

World Athletics Challenge – Race Walking

The World Athletics Challenge - Race Walking is a racewalking series organised by World Athletics. Athletes accumulate points in specific race walk meetings during the season. Performances in 10 kilometres race walk, 20 kilometres race walk and 50 kilometres race walk count towards athlete's final scores. Since 2011, racewalking performances at the World Athletics Championships and Olympic Games count towards the series. Women have competed in the 50 km distance since 2018.

Hatem Ghoula is a Tunisian race walker. He won four consecutive African Championships in the 20 kilometres walk from 1996 to 2002. His foremost medal was a 20 km walk bronze at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics. He is also a two-time gold medallist at the All-African Games, having won in 2003 and 2007.

Jozef Pribilinec is a Slovak track and field athlete who mainly competed in racewalking. He was born in Kremnica. Pribilinec competed for the former Czechoslovakia at the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul, South Korea where he won the gold medal in the men's 20 kilometre walk event.

Valeriy Viktorovich Borchin is a race walker from Russia who won the 2008 Olympic gold medal and was World champion over the 20 km distance. His World Championship was retroactively stripped in 2015 due to doping.

2006 IAAF World Race Walking Cup

he 2006 IAAF World Race Walking Cup was held on 13 and 14 May 2006 in the streets of A Coruña, Spain. Detailed reports on the event and an appraisal of the results was given for the IAAF.

The 1999 IAAF World Race Walking Cup was held on 1 and 2 May 1999 in the streets of Mézidon-Canon, France. From this year on, there was no combined men's team trophy, just the separate standings for the two races, and the women's team trophy was no longer called "Eschborn Cup" as before with their distance being increased from 10 km to 20 km.

Wang Zhen (racewalker) Chinese racewalker

Wang Zhen is a Chinese race walker who specialises in the 10 kilometres and 20 kilometres race walk. He holds the senior Asian record for the 20 km with his time of 1:17:36 hours and is also the Asian, Chinese and junior world record holder over 10 km. He was the bronze medallist over 20 km at the 2012 London Olympics and the gold medallist at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Andrés Chocho Ecuadorian race walker

Cristian Andrés Chocho León is an Ecuadorian race walker who competes in both the 20 km and 50 km walk events. He is the South American record holder in the 50 km and 20,000 metres walking events.

Sergey Morozov is a Russian race walker who competes in the 20 kilometres walk. He was the 2005 World Youth and 2007 European Junior champion in the 10,000 m walk, then walked a world's fastest time of 1:16:43 hours to win the 2008 Russian 20 km title. He was banned that year after testing positive for EPO.

Rachel Seaman is a Canadian race walker. She competed in the 20 kilometres walk event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Roger Quemener was a French racewalker, who was a legend of the Ultramarathon race Paris-Colmar winning seven times. He thus had the record number of wins, until Polish racewalker Grzegorz Adam Urbanowski brought it to ten wins.

Andrey Viktorovich Ruzavin is a Russian racewalking athlete who competes over the 20 kilometres race walk distance. He has a personal best of 1:17:47 hours for the distance, which ranks him in the top twenty of all time. Ruzavin was the silver medallist in the 20 km walk at the 2009 Summer Universiade and a bronze medallist at the 2014 IAAF World Race Walking Cup.

Dane Bird-Smith Australian racewalker

Dane Alex Bird-Smith is an Australian racewalking athlete. He competes in the 20 kilometres race walk and has a best of 1:19:28 hours for the distance, set in 2017. He competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he was the bronze medallist. Bird-Smith represented Australia at the World Championships in Athletics three times and has appeared four times at the IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships/Cup.

Yevgeniy Lyungin is a former Soviet racewalker who competed in the 50 kilometres race walk distance. He became his country's first winner of the event at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup in 1975.

Siv Gustavsson is a Swedish former racewalking athlete. She was the gold medallist at the 1981 IAAF World Race Walking Cup, making her the second ever female world champion in the sport.

Kora Boufflert is a former French athlete, who specialized in race walking.

Dzmitry Mikhailavich Dziubin is a Belarusian male racewalking athlete. He was the bronze medallist in the 50 kilometres race walk at the 2018 European Athletics Championships and won silver medals in that event at the European Race Walking Cup and Military World Games in 2019. He has represented Belarus twice at the World Athletics Championships and is a five-time participant at the World Race Walking Team Championships.
