Guadalupe Regional High School, also known as Guadalupe Satellite at Compadre High School during its final year, was a small high school in Guadalupe, Arizona. It was run by the Tempe Union High School District after it was turned over by the Maricopa County Regional School District in 2006 for financial reasons.
The school, after this move, lost 35 students to bring it down to an enrollment of just 25:
Because of this, the Tempe Union High School District began to consider closure of the school. [1] A million dollar budget shortfall in the district [2] forced the closure of the school, which had shrunk even further to 16 students. Of those 16, four graduated after summer school, two moved to Marcos, and ten moved to Compadre itself. [3]

Guadalupe is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States and part of the great Phoenix metropolitan area. The town motto, "where three cultures flourish", recognizes the town's roots in the Yaquis, Mexicans and descendants of the original farmers. Since its founding, Guadalupe has been known as a center of Yaqui culture, and it is home to many religious festivals. Nestled between Phoenix and Tempe, the 2020 census listed the population of the town as 5,322. Guadalupe was founded around 1900 by Yaqui Indians, who fled their homeland in Sonora to avoid oppression by the Mexican government of Porfirio Díaz. The cemetery of Guadalupe was established in 1904, in the original townsite. The cemetery is now officially located in Tempe, due to that city's annexation of the land surrounding the cemetery; however, it is still administered by the Guadalupe Clerk's Office. Guadalupe is primarily a residential area; most residents commute to other parts of the Phoenix area to work.

Long Wong's on Mill was a club in Tempe, Arizona. Long Wong's on Mill was the center of the Tempe music scene, which peaked in the early 1990s, and it was where the Tempe band the Gin Blossoms got their start. In turn, the popular band made the club famous. Long Wong's also featured Tempe based bands such as Dead Hot Workshop and The Refreshments, who would all go on to sign with major record labels. Long Wong's closed on April 3, 2004.
Compadre Academy is a high school in the Tempe Union High School District in Tempe, Arizona. It serves as a faster paced alternative high school for students who wish to get ahead in their high school credits. Compadre Academy formerly consisted of two campuses due to one of the schools being under construction to add more facilities. Subsequently, the other school was closed and has since had its students moved to the now much larger and renovated campus.
