Gustaf Torsten Johansson is a Swedish philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2003. [1] [2] He is a specialist in the early stamps of Norway and Sweden and won a Grand Prix award at IBRA 99. His Norway collection was shown in the Court of Honour at Norwex 1997 when it was described as probably the best collection of Norway in the world. [3]

The Roll of Distinguished Philatelists (RDP) is a philatelic award of international scale, created by the Philatelic Congress of Great Britain in 1921. The Roll consists of three pieces of parchment to which the signatories add their names.

Peter John Anderson(1853 – 12 May 1926) was the Librarian of the University of Aberdeen from 1894 and a noted philatelist who signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1921. He was Secretary of the New Spalding Club and President of the Aberdeen and North of Scotland Philatelic Society. He bequeathed his collection of philatelic literature to the University.

Emil Tamsen South African philatelist

Emil Carl Christiaan Tamsen was a South African philatelist, who was entered on the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1921. He was also a signatory, in 1932, to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists of Southern Africa. Tamsen was an expert in the stamps of Transvaal, about which he researched and wrote, and he was one of the founders in 1894 of the Johannesburg Philatelic Society.

Brigadier Karl Gustaf Börje Wallberg was a Swedish military officer and philatelist who was added to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 1994.

Frantz-Caspar Moldenhauer jr was a Norwegian philatelist who in 1995 was invited to sign the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. Moldenhauer has been described as the greatest authority on the stamps of Norway. His display of Norwegian stamps 1845-80 won a Grand Prix award at Norwex 80. He has also formed award-winning collections of the Danish West Indies. He is a founder member of the Postal History Society of Norway, and a fellow of the Society of Postal Historians in the United Kingdom.

Egil H. Thomassen FRPSL is a Norwegian aerophilatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2000. His collections have earned Large Gold medals at PACIFIC 97 and ISRAEL 98. He has been president of the Federation of Norwegian Philatelists.

Joseph Wolff is a Luxembourg philatelist who was appointed to the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists in 2003. He is a specialist in the philately of Luxembourg under German occupation and telecommunications on stamps. He has been president of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie.
