Gustavo Cruz (born 21 June 1966) is a former Nicaraguan boxer. He competed in the men's bantamweight event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1] At the 1984 Summer Olympics, he lost to Star Zulu of Zambia. [1] Cruz also represented Nicaragua at the 1991 Pan American Games. [2]

Gustavo França Borges is a Brazilian former competitive swimmer. He swam for Brazil in the Summer Olympic Games in: 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004. Borges has won the second-most Olympic medals of any Brazilian, with four—one in 1992, two in 1996 and one in 2000—behind sailors Robert Scheidt and Torben Grael. He also has the third-most Pan American Games gold medals of any Brazilian, with eight—behind swimmer Thiago Pereira and table tennis player Hugo Hoyama. Borges was Brazil's flagbearer for the Closing Ceremony at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

The men's 100 metre freestyle event at the 1992 Summer Olympics took place on 28 July at the Piscines Bernat Picornell in Barcelona, Spain. There were 75 competitors from 52 nations. Nations had been limited to two swimmers each since the 1984 Games. The event was won by Alexander Popov of the Unified Team. Gustavo Borges's silver was Brazil's first medal in the men's 100 metre freestyle since 1960. Stéphan Caron of France repeated as bronze medalist, the eighth man to win multiple medals in the event. It was the first time since 1968 that the United States had competed and not won the event and the first time since 1956 that the Americans had competed and not taken any medal, as Jon Olsen finished fourth and defending champion Matt Biondi came in fifth.

Bolivia sent a delegation to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics, held in Beijing, China. The South American country's delegation was the fifteenth Summer Olympic team and seventeenth overall Olympic team overall sent by the country. A substantial number of the athletes originated in southern Bolivian cities, most notably Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Olga María Sacasa Cruz is a track and road cyclist from Nicaragua. She represented her nation at the 1992 Summer Olympics on the track in the women's sprint and individual pursuit. Although she was on the startlist for the women's road race, she did not start the race. At 1992 Olympic women's track cycling pursuit qualifying round she established an Olympic Record for Nicaragua. Was graduated with a German/Pre-med major from Mount Holyoke College, 1984. Graduated BS in PT at University of New Mexico, 1999.

Gustavo Morales is a Nicaraguan former Olympic hammer thrower. He represented his country in the men's hammer throw at the 1968 Summer Olympics. His distance was a 45.76. At the 1971 Pan American Games, Morales threw 47.96 m in the hammer throw finishing eighth.

Bratislav Ristić is a Yugoslav boxer. He competed in the men's featherweight event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. At the 1976 Summer Olympics, he defeated Mohamed Younes Naguib and Gustavo de la Cruz, before losing to Leszek Kosedowski.

Eddy Sáenz is a Nicaraguan former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2002. As an amateur, he competed in the men's featherweight event at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Sáenz also represented Nicaragua at the 1991 Pan American Games.
