Guy2Bezbar, pseudonym of Guy-Fernand Kapata (born 3 December 1997 in Paris), is a French rapper of Congolese descent.

Biography

Guy-Fernand Kapata was born and raised in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, into a family of Congolese origin. [1]

Career

He released his first mixtape, Mixtape in 2015, while in the following two years volumes 1 and 2 of his Jungle mixtape were released. [1] In parallel, he dedicated himself to football, attempting a trial with English team West Ham United, despite not getting the job. Instead he joined Paris FC and later Red Star. [2]

On November 19, 2021, he returned to the music scene with his first studio album, called Coco Jojo. It consisted of 18 tracks and featured artists such as Hamza, Zkr, Tayc and Mayo. [3] The following year he began a collaboration with rapper Leto, which resulted in the release of the joint album Jusqu'aux étoiles on November 11th. The album's release was followed a few months later by a concert at the Olympia in Paris. [4]

On November 17, 2023 he released his third album Ambition, containing 16 tracks and featuring SDM, Jey Brownie, Josman, Koba LaD and Franglish. [5] A new version of the album, called Ambition II, was made available at the beginning of 2024, and saw the addition of 12 unreleased titles, with features from Rsko, Fally Ipupa and Dinos. [6]

Gandhi Alimasi Djuna, known professionally as Maître Gims and more recently just Gims, is a French-Congolese singer, rapper, producer, and songwriter. He grew up in France and currently lives in France and Morocco. He is a member of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assaut. He pursued an individual career under the name Maître Gims in 2013. He previously released an extended play in 2006, titled Ceux qui dorment les yeux ouverts. During his career he has worked with several international artists such as Sia, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Stromae, Maluma, Sting, and others. He has sold over 5 million records, including 3 million albums since the start of his career. He was signed to the label Wati B and in 2017 signed with Polydor Records of Universal Music Group. He was a member of the musical formation Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016. The duo was part of the label Wati B and released the album Indéfini. The duo announced that they were breaking up so they can each follow solo careers.
