The Gwalior - Chhindwara Express was a bi-weekly express train which used to run between Gwalior Junction railway station of Gwalior and Chhindwara Junction railway station of Chhindwara. Both the cities are located in Madhya Pradesh. Recently Indian Railways Extended the train Up to Delhi Sarai Rohilla, so its running as Delhi - Chhindwara Patalkot Express.

The 12621 / 12622 Tamil Nadu Express is a superfast train of the Indian Railways. The train was first started on 7 August 1976 by then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. Introduced as a tri-weekly, it was the first State named train of the south. It runs between Chennai Central and New Delhi. It is considered as the fastest non-Rajdhani Express train. In 1976, it was a tri-weekly train, then made four times a week just before the 1982 Asian Games and then converted to a daily train by Madhav Rao Scindia in June 1988 and who added Gwalior to the stoppages. Numbered 12621/12622, this train belongs to the Superfast category of Indian Railways. It runs with highly refurbished LHB Coaches from 22nd November 2020.

The Taj Express was started in 1964 to serve tourists traveling from Delhi to Agra. It reduced the traveling time from over three hours to around two and a half hours. Taj Express was started along the lines of Deccan Queen- which ran as a high-speed commuter-special train between Pune Junction and CSMT Mumbai - and provided a quick and comfortable journey between Agra and Delhi. It was a very popular train especially among foreign tourists, before the Bhopal Shatabdi was introduced in 1988. It starts from Hyderabad Deccan Nampally and covers 1,677 km (1,042 mi) with an average speed of 64 km/h (40 mph) takes around 26 hours and 40 minutes to reach New Delhi. It takes 26 hours and 10 minutes from New Delhi to Hyderabad Deccan Nampally. The train got LHB rakes w.e.f. 15 July 2019.
