Gwen Svekis (born June 1,1996) is an American softball player for the Chicago Bandits.
She attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale,Florida. She later attended the University of Oregon,where she was an All-American catcher and NFCA Catcher of the Year for the Oregon Ducks softball team. [1] [2] [3] [4] Svekis led the Ducks to three Women's College World Series appearances in 2015,2017 and 2018. [5] She later went on to play professional softball with the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch. [6] She played in the inaugural season of Athletes Unlimited Softball league in 2020. [7]
Jennie Lynn Finch Daigle is an American former softball player. She played for the Arizona Wildcats softball team from 1999 to 2002,where she won the 2001 Women's College World Series and was named collegiate All-American. Later she led the United States women's national softball team to the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She also pitched for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch from 2005 to 2010.
Jessica Ofelia Mendoza is an American sportscaster and former softball player. Currently,she serves as an analyst for ESPN's coverage of Major League Baseball and Los Angeles Dodgers coverage on Spectrum SportsNet LA. As a softball outfielder,Mendoza was a collegiate four-time First Team All-American and two-time Olympic medalist. Mendoza played from 1999 to 2002 at Stanford and was a member of the United States women's national softball team from 2004 to 2010. She won a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She played professionally in National Pro Fastpitch and was named 2011 Player of the Year and currently ranks in the top 10 for career batting average and slugging percentage.
National Pro Fastpitch (NPF),formerly the Women's Pro Softball League (WPSL),was a professional women's softball league in the United States. The teams battled for the Cowles Cup.
The Chicago Bandits were a women's professional softball team based in Rosemont,Illinois. Since the 2005 season,they have played as a member of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). The Bandits won the 2008 NPF championship,defeating the Washington Glory in the final game of the championship series. The team won their second NPF championship following the 2011 season when they won the championship series two games to none over the USSSA Pride. Following the 2015 season the team won its third NPF championship defeating the USSSA Pride two games to none. They played their home games at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont,Illinois. The team folded in 2021 when the NPF disbanded.
Natasha Renee Watley is an American,former collegiate four-time first-team All-American,two-time medal winning Olympian,retired seven-time pro-All-Star softball player. Watley played college softball at UCLA,and helped the Bruins win a national championship. She represented the United States women's national softball team at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She won a gold medal,and again at the 2008 Summer Olympics,and won a silver medal.

Stacy May-Johnson is an American,former collegiate,three-time professional All-Star softball player and current head coach at Fresno State. She played college softball for Iowa,being named a three-time all-conference third baseman and shortstop. May-Johnson was selected twelfth overall in the National Pro Fastpitch,eventually playing for the Chicago Bandits. She was named the inaugural Rookie of the Year in 2006 and a two-time Player of the Year in 2008 and 2010 for the league. She also helped the Bandits to win two championships and ranks in the top-10 in career hits (267) and home runs (38).
Ashley Kristina Holcombe is an American softball player who plays catcher for the USA national softball team. Holcombe is now in her third year with the Women's National Team.
The Oregon Ducks softball team represents the University of Oregon in NCAA Division I college softball. The Ducks compete in the Big Ten Conference and are led by head coach Melyssa Lombardi. Oregon plays their home games at Jane Sanders Stadium after playing at Howe Field through 2015. Oregon has appeared in eight Women's College World Series.
Angelique "Angel" Bunner is an American,former professional softball pitcher. Bunner pitched collegiately for Auburn from 2008 to 2012. In the 2012 NPF Draft,she was drafted seventeenth overall by the Carolina Diamonds. During her professional career in the National Pro Fastpitch,she played for the USSSA Pride,Chicago Bandits,Pennsylvania Rebellion,Carolina Diamonds,NY/NJ Comets and most recently the Beijing Eagles. She currently ranks in career innings pitched and won a Cowles Cup championship with the Bandits in 2016.
The Texas Charge were a women's professional softball team based in San Marcos,Texas. The team began play as the Dallas Charge as a member of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) with a game on June 3,2015. They were initially headquartered in the Dallas–Fort Worth,Texas area,with most home games at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch.

The 2006 NPF Senior Draft is the third annual NPF Draft. It was held February 15,2006 to assign division I college players to pro teams for 2006 season. Athletes are not allowed by the NCAA to sign professional contracts until their collegiate seasons have ended. The first selection was Texas's Cat Osterman,picked by the Connecticut Brakettes. Osterman chose not to sign with the Brakettes. The Brakettes' rights to her expired after the 2006,after which she signed with the Rockford Thunder.

Kelly Katlyn Barnhill is an American professional softball pitcher. She played college softball for the Florida Gators from 2016 to 2019,earning All-American honors during her tenure with the team. She was named the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year,Honda Sports Award,and espnW Player of the Year in 2017. She is the career no hitters (7),strikeouts,strikeout ratio (10.5) and WHIP leader for the Gators. She also ranks in career strikeout ratio for both the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA Division I.
Paige Lowary is an American former softball pitcher,originally from Dallas Center,Iowa. She attended Dallas Center-Grimes High School in Grimes,Iowa. She attended the University of Missouri in 2015 and 2016,before transferring to the University of Oklahoma. She holds the Sooner career record for saves (18) in just two seasons and for her full career ranks top-5 for the same category in all the NCAA Division I. At both universities,she was both a starting and relief pitcher for the school's respective college softball teams. During her junior season in 2017,Lowary led Oklahoma to the 2017 Women's College World Series final,where they defeated No. 1 Florida,5–4 to claim the national championship. Lowary was chosen as the number-one pick in the National Pro Fastpitch draft and went on to play for the USSSA Pride for the 2018–2019 season.
Emily Crane is an American softball player. She attended Troy Buchanan High School in Troy,Missouri. She later attended the University of Missouri,where she was an All-American for the Missouri Tigers softball team. She later went on to play professional softball with the Chicago Bandits of National Pro Fastpitch.
The 2018 NCAA Division I softball season, play of college softball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level,began in February 2018. The season progressed through the regular season,many conference tournaments and championship series,and concluded with the 2018 NCAA Division I softball tournament and 2018 Women's College World Series. The Women's College World Series,consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and held annually in Oklahoma City at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium,ended on June 4,2018.
Sashel Aitiana Palacios Barajas is an American softball catcher of Mexican descent. After playing college softball for Arizona State,she embarked on a professional career in 2018. She also helped the Mexico national team qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics,which finished the tournament in fourth place.
