The 2015 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event hosted by the city-state of Singapore. It was the fourth time the country hosted the games and the first time since 1993. Singapore previously also hosted the games in 1973 and 1983.
Bishan Sports Hall is situated in the central part of Singapore at Bishan. Bishan Sports Hall is part of the Bishan Sports Recreation Centre, which includes Bishan Stadium and Bishan Sports Complex.
Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is an island city-state in Southeast Asia. It lies one degree north of the equator, at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, with Indonesia's Riau Islands to the south and Peninsular Malaysia to the north. The games is under regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia.
